The pictures are great, they gave me the feeling of marble flowers, I don't know why, or glass... of some shiny and beautiful material. They look great, I like them a lot.

Well yesterday I did some things around the house and then at night I went out.... Today is a quiet day resting a bit, writing, in the afternoon with the family having a snack and then a night walk with Tony, my kitten, but I'm already planning next Sunday hahaha.

I'm glad you had a great day. I spent most of mine in the car.

I spend lots of time thinking, and most times, like you prefer not to share what I think about. Hell, it might scare most people what comes out of this head. LOL

Our weekend was somewhat uneventful. It was a holiday weekend over here. So we enjoyed BBQ and local fireworks displays.

Photographing details, if it is not your job, can be a very relaxing hobby.

I had a really relaxed weekend (yesterday I also drank a few beers, so I relaxed even more).
Today I'm at the same lake, in the shade, listening to music, clicking on Hive and emptying my brain of all the heavy thoughts I've accumulated over the past week.

Hi Galen, yesterday I was at the farewell of the flamenco (music) season hsat October. I usually go once or twice a month to a flamenco peña with several friends to listen to new and semi-professional singers. This is the authentic flamenco atmosphere, and the contact with the artists is very close. 

About your decision I am sure it is the right one, have a great week.

Yesterday I visited a B-24 Bomber which crash-landed on Atka Island, Alaska. 
Remains in pretty good shape even though it landed over 70 years ago. So I've had a good Sunday too.

Similar to you I had a really good and relaxing weekend. It was a long one and I'm sure that helped. I haven't felt this relaxed and doing little in a long time. It is now Sunday evening here and I'm winding down on the balcony and it's just beautiful - minus the mozzies that are starting to appear.

Here's to a good / better week ahead of us.

It's really cool how black and white can mess with one's visual and perception. The flower looks synthetic from the photos. The first one looks so rigid, the second almost computer generated, and the third looks metallic. The way they look doesn't seem like how a regular flower would behave. The softness of the petals seem to disappear. These are really awesome shots.
