_Legion_ has joined the ever-changing catalog of titles being offered on **Xbox Game Pass**. The third in a series that first launched in 2014, [_Watch Dogs: Legion_](https://gamerant.com/db/video-game/watch-dogs-legion/) takes players to a dystopian London of the future, where the hacking group DedSec has been framed for terrorism. Along with its multiplayer component that allows up to four people to play cooperatively, [_Watch Dogs: Legion_ introduced a new playable character system](https://gamerant.com/watch-dogs-legion-best-worst-recruit-perks/). It lets players recruit any NPC in the game world and build a unique team with diverse backgrounds and abilities. The mechanic came with the option of permadeath, meaning any recruit who dies during a playthrough is gone for good. Given that these characters are chosen specifically by the player, who is more likely to become attached as a result, this upped the stakes and excitement for those who wanted it. Gamers who haven’t yet tried 2020’s _Watch Dogs: Legions,_ or who perhaps want to play it again, can now enjoy it at no additional cost with their Xbox Game Pass subscription. The title joins a long list of great additions to the subscription service in 2025. In February alone, [Xbox Game Pass subscribers have gotten _Far Cry New Dawn_](https://gamerant.com/xbox-game-pass-february-2025-games-far-cry-new-dawn/)_, Avowed,_ and _Balatro_, to name a few. And _Starfield, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes,_ and _Another Crab’s Treasure_ — all day-one launch titles on the service’s Ultimate tier — also become available to Standard tier members.
