Well my super expensive Christmas presents have really outdone themselves this year.

And we have definitely had some really fun adventures in building stuff.

And of course this wonderful platform has gotten me some pretty crazy interesting friends.

Well after another year of being on this platform with absolutely no slowing down and working harder as well to promote it than ever I would have to say my outlook for the next year is going to be very optimistic for chances on this platform provided we don't flag each other all to Oblivion....

Yep that's right everybody's flagging everybody and I have joined in as well flagging my favorite snitch and liar of the blockchain.

Well it's definitely been fun.. and honestly even though I very rarely flag I have definitely used some of that down voting power and I think I'm going to take a nap and let that recharge.

And of course I'm just going to sit back and watch the fireworks.

It's been awhile since I stood on the sidelines. And I have actually been involved with a bunch of different events so I think I am going to start enjoying some of the quiet life.

My really good friend @cowboyblazerfan is in the hospital with covid and he's not doing so hot so hopefully people could send up some prayers for him.

And somebody today called me paranoid which is actually really funny because those people that actually do know me are aware that is not a part of my diagnosis. I've got a lot of problems including insomnia which I'm currently dealing with. Out thinking people are out to get me really isn't one of them. I mean who would actually be dumb enough to try that? LoL wink.

Well just a couple more days and I get to go back to shopping for more toys. Definitely need to get a set of extended takedown pins as well as maybe a couple of other really cool bling type items.

And then possibly I'm going to start working on this reloading thing.

Thinking of which I should really go on a mental health day and do some long-range stress relief. It's actually been a while since I've sat behind my scope...

And it's a nice one I do like it.

Could be better however that's not high on the list for me to need.

Well anyway I'm really in love with this 458 socom upper and I really need to start working on finding out where to pick up some ammo for this and get it cited in one of these days. Sighted... whatever...

Well I really want to also find out which neighborhood has that rampaging t-rex or herd of bears that needs to be controlled.

And I've been thinking more about going to Alaska for a summer to really enjoy some excessive nature and get paid while doing it.

Well the last day is pretty amazing and I really wouldn't mind getting a bunch of gold together. That would be the main reason why I would like to go. And of course extra nature all around.

Anyway I think I'm running out of ideas. I'm not sure I can keep putting together all these projects and keep banging them out... What am I going to do without all these projects to keep me nice and occupied most times. Well I'm sure I can figure something out.

Like play and trade on blockchain technology.. have some amazing friends and get to smoke weed with amazing people all the way across the world.

And of course battle that horrid little creature that I'm currently enjoying.

Yeah I'll be honest having someone mistreat my friends is never going to sit well with me.

Anyway since I have done so many projects this year and gotten so many of my goals completely crushed. What should I test my skills on doing this year...

Going to Alaska and doing some hunting, fishing and nature seeing sounds like a whole lot of fun! Beautiful place. Just pack the shit out of bug spray! I hear the mosquitoes are fucking wolves up there. Crazy to think that such a cold place could have such an insane mosquito problem!

We all need projects, it's just finishing them that's the problem lmao

Actually you totally got the cotter pin correct! 

The entire assembly contains the bolt which I think you are trying to get close to. 

In fact the charging handle is what actuates this however is not reciprocal in this process and only gets utilized during the charging sequence to load the gun. 

So the bolt itself is what you're looking at and this one would be complete with extractor ejector and gas rings. It's an amazingly efficient design. 

The firing pin and the little piece that cams... Cam pin retainer or whatever it is I'm going to track down or replacement for them that is a roller cam and has some bearings to smooth that out instead of being a chunk of metal. 

I can't wait to find more cool parts to stockpile... 

You never know you might have red paging zombies or maybe in the case of that 458 socom maybe there's a rampaging pack of tyrannosaurus Rex that needs to be dealt with.

Or maybe if I go to Alaska I have a life insurance policy.

And you might want to clarify which caliber because the bolt carrier group is for 556 and 300 blackout. I was thinking about using a nicer bolt. But both of those uppers have really nice bolts and this nickel boron bolt carrier group goes to the 300 blackout. 

Both of my Zev uppers have their own bolt carrier groups. 

And the 458 has its own specific group which is actually compatible with the 450 Bushmaster. 

And maybe the 50 Beowulf. 

I went with this caliber over the ability to vary different bullet weights from 250 grains all the way to 700 grains.

Which actually that's a huge amount of power.

Yes, interested in the .458 results. I've got a .223, and have shot/liked the 300. Almost got one just because of the ease to change barrels, but not quite. Have also looked at 300 Hammr, but not tried any of those. I'm really more of a bolt action guy.

The .458 just sounds cool, lol and definitely impressive kinetic energy, just haven't seen many accuracy posts with it and wondering how it will do at those common ranges.

I'm working on getting ammo. 

And the 458 is supposedly pretty accurate. However it's going to cost me about $40 for 20 rounds. So it's going to take a little bit and then I've also got to get a little bit of ammo. 

The 556 Zev upper is rated at sub moa. I really am tickled with that one. 

Some exciting things are happening these days. It's pretty amazing being me. 

And actually you're not supposed to scrape carbon from the tail of your bolt. I wasn't aware of all that. 

Apparently I've had a lot of misconceptions about the modern sporting rifle myself. 

I'd really like to do a little bit of gold mining this coming summer in Alaska so all this might help out up there.

A few years back, I was fortunate enough to be sent to a Smith & Wesson armory course for their AR-15 platform.  Prior to this I have very little experience with rifles, other than the basic field stripping.  

Once I realized how fairly simple the system is in form and function, I decided to try my hand at building one.  I ordered the upper and lower together to have them shipped to my local range and then waited for extreme online sales for the rest of the parts.  Saving this money allowed me to build in some extras and make it more suited to me and my personality.

Hope you get that range therapy soon!

Actually I've got two 556 uppers a 300 blackout as well as a Colt 760x39 Soviet and of course my favorite the Bear Creek armory 458 socom!!!!

Bear Creek Arsenal was where I ended up getting my .223 Wylde barrel for my build.  They were having a crazy sale at the time.  Most of my other components came from Palmetto State Armory.  

I've heard great things about the 300 blackout but I was happy enough to finish up my 223......but the itch might be calling again lolol
