Hola mi querida gente de Hive, siempre con el mejor de los ánimos a pesar de todas esas variantes en nuestra vidas que nos ponen el mundo chiquito. Sin embargo, no nos rendimos, seguimos confiando que muy pronto, si es la voluntad de Dios la cosas cambiarán para todos.

Por estos días me han pasado muchas cosas, me volví a sentar en unos de esos puestos de la montaña rusa, cuántas emociones soportamos allí, pero lo más importante para mí es lo fuerte que terminamos siendo, todo esto nos ayuda a mostrar compasión y a comprender el dolor ajeno. También nos sensibiliza y nos hace ver lo importante que son los momentos compartidos con nuestros seres queridos.

>These days many things have happened to me, I sat again in one of those roller coaster rides, how many emotions we endure there, but the most important thing for me is how strong we end up being, all this helps us to show compassion and to understand the pain of others. It also sensitizes us and makes us see how important the moments shared with our loved ones are.

Con la enfermedad de mi suegro he llegado a compenetrarme más con la familia de mi esposo, son muchas personalidades diferentes, pero cada uno muestra su forma de amar y colaborar en esta situación que a todos nos ha sacado lágrimas. Una de las cosas que valoro de todas estás circunstancias es saber que si unimos fuerzas el camino se hace más llevadero, porque transitamos juntos, nos sentimos apoyados y unidos por una misma causa, para darle un poco más de calidad de vida, a ese ser que siempre trabajó duro para sacar adelante a sus 7 hijos y esposa.

>With my father-in-law's illness I have come to empathize more with my husband's family, they are many different personalities, but each one shows their way of loving and collaborating in this situation that has brought tears to all of us. One of the things I value in all these circumstances is to know that if we join forces the road becomes more bearable, because we walk together, we feel supported and united for the same cause, to give a little more quality of life to this being who always worked hard to raise his 7 children and wife.

Hoy por hoy una manera de compensar todos sus esfuerzos es estando allí para él, a quien consideramos un guerrero aferrado a la vida, queriendo demostrar con mucho empeño su deseo de agotar sus fuerzas para seguir en la lucha por ganar un día más de vida. Claro, no ha sido fácil para él ni tampoco para sus seres queridos, pero seguimos creyendo en la bondad de las personas quienes han dado sus excelentes donativos en esta lucha. Para ellos un gran abrazo que Dios les múltiple en bendiciones. Otros con sus oraciones han ayudado mucho para no perder la calma, para enfrentar con entereza esta prueba que la vida nos ha puesto.

>Today, one way to compensate for all his efforts is to be there for him, who we consider a warrior clinging to life, wanting to demonstrate with great determination his desire to exhaust his strength to continue in the struggle to win another day of life. Of course, it has not been easy for him nor for his loved ones, but we continue to believe in the goodness of the people who have given their excellent donations in this fight. To them a big hug and may God bless them many times over. Others with their prayers have helped a lot not to lose calm, to face with integrity this test that life has put us.

De todo esto he aprendido muchas cosas: 
Más hace el que quiere que el que puede. 
Que siempre habrá tiempo para dedicarle a nuestros seres queridos, sobre todo a los padres envejecidos. 
Que todos somos del tamaño del compromiso que tenemos enfrente. 
Nos desprendemos del miedo para empoderarnos de la valentía. 
También que secamos nuestras lágrimas para mostrar nuestra actitud de optimismo y que el amor cubre todas nuestras fallas, entre muchas otras lecciones.

>From all this I have learned many things: 
He who is willing does more than he who is able. 
That there will always be time to dedicate to our loved ones, especially to aging parents. 
That we are all the size of the commitment in front of us. 
We let go of fear to empower ourselves with courage. 
Also that we dry our tears to show our attitude of optimism and that love covers all our faults, among many other lessons.

Una de las cosas que durante estos 3 meses aproximadamente hemos querido hacer para agradar a mi suegro, es pasar tiempo juntos, quizás olvidando un poco la realidad y sumando en nuestros recuerdos momentos inolvidables, donde cada uno muestra su mejor sonrisa, para darle a él momentos gratos en unión de su familia. Es triste reconocer que a veces necesitamos que nos muevan la mata para querer aferrarnos a ella. Así siento todo lo que hemos vivido, un soplo fuerte nos hizo entender que las cosas más importantes pueden ser descuidadas porque damos todo por sentado, pensamos que luego tendremos tiempo para estar con nuestros padres y familiares, pero no caemos en cuenta que en fracciones de minutos los podemos perder.

>One of the things that during these 3 months or so we have wanted to do to please my father-in-law, is to spend time together, perhaps forgetting a little reality and adding in our memories unforgettable moments, where each one shows his best smile, to give him pleasant moments in union with his family. It is sad to recognize that sometimes we need to be moved to want to hold on to it. So I feel everything we have lived, a strong breath made us understand that the most important things can be neglected because we take everything for granted, we think that later we will have time to be with our parents and family, but we do not realize that in fractions of minutes we can lose them.

Cada uno de ustedes, estoy segura que tienen una historia diferente que contar, pero de todas ellas también muchas enseñanzas, algunos muestran arrepentimiento por cosas que dejaron de hacer, otros se martirizan porque no le dieron el amor suficiente, y así muchas cosas por el estilo. Por eso los que aún mantienen con vida a sus padres, aprovechen cada minuto con ellos, no dejen de besarlos, abrazarlos y decirles cuanto los aman, pues cuando ya no están es lo que más deseamos hacer, y ya es muy tarde. 

>Each one of you, I am sure you have a different story to tell, but from all of them also many teachings, some show regret for things they failed to do, others martyr themselves because they did not give enough love, and so many things like that. That is why those who still keep their parents alive, take advantage of every minute with them, do not stop kissing them, hugging them and telling them how much you love them, because when they are gone is what we most want to do, and it is already too late. 

Cada día con ellos véanlo como un regalo, pero valioso, no ese que dejamos guardado y no lo disfrutamos, al contrario, aprovechen el tiempo para sacarle provecho al máximo y estén dispuesto a darlo todo de buena gana, que ellos puedan sentirse amados y poder morir en paz.
Espero que estas líneas sirvan de una forma u otra para hacernos reflexionas y si es su deseo pueden dejar sus valiosos comentarios.
