Hola a todos mis Hivers, reciban un afectuoso saludo, en especial a todas esas personas que pasan por esta increíble comunidad dejando sus aportes e investigaciones, que nos permiten aprender, observar y conocer un poco más de las innumerables flores y plantas que nos regala la majestuosa naturaleza. En estos días una amiga de quien siempre les hablo en mis post, me envió una foto con una planta muy extraña y exótica a la vez, la verdad nunca la había visto, me llamó la atención su flor, por eso no perdí el tiempo en despejar mi curiosidad. Le pregunté qué mata era esa, a lo que ella respondió de forma inmediata, que se trataba de la flor de micrófono. Eso me pareció algo gracioso pero lógico al mismo tiempo, pues su similitud era muy notoria. Ella estaba por Caripe, me prometió que al regresar a nuestra ciudad me obsequiaría algunas de sus flores.

I asked her what kind of bush it was, to which she immediately answered that it was the microphone flower. That seemed to me something funny but logical at the same time, because their similarity was very noticeable. She was in Caripe, she promised me that when she returned to our city she would give me some of her flowers.

Al otro día de haber hablado con mi amiga Mineida, me escribió que ya estaba de regreso en su casa, que enviara a mi esposo a retirar lo que me había prometido, así lo hice y recibí de su parte 2 flores de micrófono, las cuales inmediatamente las coloqué en un florero que tengo en la sala de mi casa. Hace más de 15 días que las recibí y aún las flores están muy conservadas, por aquí se las muestro.

>The next day after speaking with my friend Mineida, she wrote me that she was already back home, to send my husband to pick up what she had promised me, so I did and I received from her 2 microphone flowers, which I immediately placed them in a vase that I have in the living room of my house. Otra de las novedades para mí para compartir con ustedes en este post, es esta hermosa flor de dalia, que también es cultivada en la zona de Caripe por mi amiga, investigando un poco sobre su significado, aprendí que es la  “flor de los tallos de agua”. Otra cosa que llamó mucho mi atención es que es la flor que representa a México a nivel mundial, ya que es endémica en ese país. Existen de diversos colores, formas  y tamaños y  pertenecen a la familia asteraceae. La cautivadora dalia es reconocida como flor nacional.

Siguiendo con mi relato del día, deseo mostrarles otras fotos que recibí de mi querida amiga Paola desde Colombia, las cultiva ella desde su casa. Con el deseo de mostrarme sus bellas plantas me las envió para que las apreciara desde la distancia. Lo único que lamento es no poder estar cerca para así obtener los respectivos obsequios, es decir una pequeña planta de cada una de ellas. La primera que les muestro es de nombre gloxinia perteneciente a la familia gesneriaceae.​ Averiguando su significado me conseguí con la grata sorpresa que si le regalas de estas flores a la personas que amas, puede ser el  inicio de una bonita relación

The only thing I regret is not being able to be near to get the respective gifts, that is to say, a small plant of each one of them. The first one I show you is called gloxinia, which belongs to the gesneriaceae family. When I found out its meaning, I got the pleasant surprise that if you give these flowers to the person you love, it can be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Me comentaba mi amiga que la tiene colocada en los ventanales de la casa, pues investigando entendí que requieren de iluminación, sin embargo, no es conveniente para ellas recibir los rayos del sol directamente. Como pueden notar sus flores son acampanadas y también las hay de diversos colores. Algunas de ellas pueden tener combinaciones de colores y sus pétalos pueden ser aterciopelados. Mientras más conozco de ellas más quiero tenerlas en el jardín de mi casa.

>My friend told me that she has placed them in the windows of the house, because when I was investigating I understood that they require lighting, however, it is not convenient for them to receive direct sunlight. As you can notice, their flowers are bell-shaped and they also come in different colors. Some of them can have combinations of colors and their petals can be velvety. The more I know about them the more I want to have them in my garden.

La otra  planta a referir, es la primavera o oreja de oso, forma parte de la  familia de las primuláceas.  Al igual que las gloxinias deben resguardarse de los rayos de sol, para así poder ofrecerles lugares frescos. Se reproducen a través de las semillas y como su nombre lo indica,  las vemos florecer apenas llega la primavera en diferentes colores, de allí que tenga como significado el comienzo de esta hermosa estación. Como verán en esta imagen son muy hermosas y sus colores van desde los más claros hasta los más oscuros 

>The other plant to mention is the primrose or bear's ear, part of the primulaceae family.  Like the gloxinias, they must be sheltered from the sun's rays, in order to offer them cool places. They reproduce through seeds and as its name indicates, we see them bloom as soon as spring arrives in different colors, hence it has the meaning of the beginning of this beautiful season. As you will see in this picture they are very beautiful and their colors range from the lightest to the darkest.

Ya para finalizar les quiero mostrar una que sí está en mi jardín, conocida como  corona de Cristo, aunque ya se las he presentado en el tamaño grande, tanto de sus hojas como la flor, ahora se la presentó en su versión pequeña. Para mí esta planta tendrá un significado muy especial, ya que la coloqué en una maceta que mi esposo logro  obtener de una lampara dañada que estaban entre las cosas que le pertenecían a mi mami, cada vez que la vea será inevitable recordarla, por eso se convierte en una planta con un valor sentimental para mí.

>Now to finish I want to show you one that is in my garden, known as crown of Christ, although I have already presented them in the large size, both its leaves and flower, now I present it in its small version. For me this plant will have a very special meaning, since I placed it in a pot that my husband managed to obtain from a damaged lamp that was among the things that belonged to my mommy, every time I see it will be inevitable to remember it, that is why it becomes a plant with a sentimental value for me.

Siempre es un placer para mí hablarle de lo que tanto me apasiona, las plantas y las flores, es algo que reporta en mi vida bienestar y mucho amor, despertar cada mañana,  poder regarlas y cuidarlas es una de las cosas que me mantiene en pie de lucha. Otra cosa que me gusta hacer es investigar sobre ellas y poderlas llamar por sus nombres, antes no le daba importancia, pero ahora es una más de mis tareas por hacer. Reciban mi cariño sincero y que nuestro padre celestial los bendiga y cuide.
