Hola a todos mis queridos Hivers, por aquí estoy retomando las experiencias vividas en Río Cocollar. En esta ocasión les hablaré del sancocho en fogón que nunca debe faltar en estos sitios, pues sería algo imperdonable. No les voy hablar de receta, ya que este sancocho fue realizado por mi cuñada María la esposa de mi hermano Alexander, el chófer. Ya poco a poco empezaré a mostrarles sus caras.

Por ahora voy a empezar diciendo que todos los ingredientes los compramos en Maturín, pues queríamos ir seguros, además, las cosas por allá son un tanto más caras y no sabíamos si podíamos encontrar todo lo que necesitábamos. Como éramos varios a cada uno se nos asignó algunas compras. Lo cierto fue que llevamos de todo como podrán notar, solo faltaba el fogón y la gran olla.

Mi cuñada es algo exigente al momento de preparar comida, no le gusta que nadie más meta su mano en la sazón, sin embargo, aceptó que mi esposo le ayudará a pelar las verduras, mientras ella se encargaba de limpiar las patas de pollos y los huesos. Entre ellos se entendieron bien, por aquí los vemos muy sonrientes y trabajando en armonía.

>My sister-in-law is a bit demanding when it comes to preparing food, she doesn't like anyone else's hand in the seasoning, however, she accepted that my husband would help her peel the vegetables, while she was in charge of cleaning the chicken legs and bones. Contamos con la ayuda del esposo de una de las dueñas de las casas, para la leña y poner arder la candela, mientras tanto ya puesta la olla en el fogón, mi cuñada se organizaba para ir colocando los ingredientes con el agua hirviendo, allí estaba yo, con mi celular en mano, tomando mis fotos y haciendo vídeos improvisados, para luego poderlos compartir. Algunas fotos donde yo salgo con ella, las tomó mi hija Jeraldine, yo también quería ser parte de esta experiencia en el fogón, aunque no calculé algunas consecuencias. De eso les hablaré en otro post.

La sopa se llevó su tiempo reglamentario de cocción, pero algunos curiosos se acercaban a la candela a ver cómo estaba la sazón, por aquí  capturé a mi hermano Alex, quien simulaba posar para unas fotos familiar  y en cada descuido  se comía una presa, los que mirábamos desde lejos pensábamos, esta sopa se repartirá sin presa. Uno de los cómplice era mi sobrino el galán, Totue, él es morocho con Anabella, él ayudaba a dar su probada también, la verdad es que a esa hora todos teníamos hambre.

Llegó el gran momento esperado por todos, la sopa por fin estuvo lista, aquí la vemos traer por mi esposo y mi hermano, era bastante pesada y estaba que ardía, pero eso no evitó que mi cuñada diera rienda suelta a servir los platos tan anhelados. Los primeros en obtener sus sopas fueron los niños, estaban hambrientos, no les importaba que estuviera caliente, ellos están acostumbrados a comer así. Al igual que otros que como mi esposo e hija empezaron a soplar y a comer.

En mi caso soy de tomar la sopa más reposada, así la disfruto más. Una cosa graciosa de ese día fue que a Darwin ni Jeral no les gustan las patas de pollos y al parecer María atinó a ponerles varias a cada uno, pues ellos la pusieron todas en mi comida. Pensé que no lograría comerme todo eso, pero la sopa estaba exquisita que termine con todo lo que había en mi plato. De la sopa comieron muchas personas, algunas fotos se me pasaron por alto, era razonable tenía mucha hambre, lo importante fue que todos en familia, amigos y hasta los vecinos del frente, logramos comer un rico sancocho, hecho en fogón desde piedra Cocollar…

Amiga que rico se ve el sancocho!! Así se prepara la comida en el campo, eso une a las familias pues todos intervienen. Me agrado mucho ver qué la pasaron bien ese día @gardenofcarmen. Eso hace falta para despejar la mente y controlar las emociones por situación difíciles vividas. Me encantaron las fotos, era como vivir esos momentos. Saludos a la familia amiga querida. Imagino que no te gustan las patas de pollo jajajajajajaja a mí me encantan y si me ayudan con el colágeno y con mis defensas. La verdad no me lo vas a creer pero pensé bastante para poner esa foto, precisamente por tantas patas de pollo en mi plato.

Ustedes se fueron mas que armados para ese sancocho vale jaja que bueno,  ademas de que compraron mas barato aca rn la ciudad,  llevaron todo listo y asi dieron menos vueltas!!  Se ve que disfrutaron ese compartir en familia,  ojala lo repitan pronto🥰
