Cuando es acostado en una incómoda cama, no se imagina ni por un momento el sitio donde fue a parar, no se preocupa por eso, él solo quiere dejar de respirar, pero esta generosa señora empieza por querer la fiebre bajar, le hace unos guarapos y poco a poco se los empieza a dar.

Así pasaron varios días y Sebastián empezó a dejar de alucinar, le preguntaba con voz baja, ¿qué le pasó y cómo llego a ese lugar? la mujer confundida no le pudo dar respuesta, solo le dijo, lo encontré tendido en un matorral, lo traje a casa y hasta ahora su voz logré escuchar.

Él tomó su arrugada mano y le dio las gracias por su generosidad, pero aún estaba muy débil apenas se podía sentar, ella lo alimentaba como a un hijo que tenía tiempo sin cuidar, fue la mano de Dios que la puso en el camino de Sebastián.

Después de unas cuantas semanas su fuerzas lo ayudaron a levantar, quería regresar a su casa pero no sabía cómo llegar, de repente llegó un paisano que pasaba por la vieja casa donde por tanto tiempo se tuvo que quedar, él hablo con el chófer y él se ofreció para llevarlo hasta su hogar.

Fue así que por fin estuvo frente a su casa y el timbre pudo tocar, estaba algo preocupado por la impresión que a su esposa le pudiera causar, pero ya estaba preparado para dar la explicación que en su momento no se atrevió a dar, solo se hizo prisionero del terror de la noticia que estaba a punto de revelar.

Fue así como Débora lo volvió a abrazar, estaba tan agradecida que no hizo preguntas hasta que su esposo deseara hablar, sabía que había pasado por momentos difíciles, prefirió ser paciente y dejar que su mente pudiera organizar, le dio tiempo para que descansará y algunas heridas en su cuerpo pudo notar.

Aunque por las noches se preguntaba qué fue eso tan grande que lo hizo escapar, no conseguía respuesta, solo le tocaba esperar, a él lo sentía en ocasiones llorando, lo abrazaba hasta dormidos poderse quedar, ella estaba clara que algo aterrador Sebastián le tenía que contar.
