Power Up All My HIVE...

Hello friends, how are you all ?? As 'm not active user of hive, i didn't have much knowledge about hive platform, every new day is new learning for me in hive blockchain, today when scroll new feeds in hive, then i notice that many of friends Power up their HIVE to gave more power to Hive wallets, that i came to know that first day of every month is called as HIVE POWER UP DAY(HUPD) when almost every hiver power up their HIVE to bring to power of hive and this is way through which we can add value to our Hive wallet. **Powering up is simply keeping it in your wallet while increasing your stakes.** When powered up, your HIVE becomes locked in and converts to HIVE Power, which increases your voting power and resource credits on the blockchain.

## How I Done My HIVE Power Up ?

Step 1. Simply login into Hive Wallet using your Active posting Key. Then you will directed to HIVE wallet interface.

as you can see, before powering up, my HIVE, i have 56.623 HIVE and 159.534 HIVE POWER.

Step 2. Click on the arrown down on HIVE, there will be option Power Up, click on that, then you redirected to the next page.

Step 3. Then this interface convert ayour HIVE into HIVE POWER, enter amount you wish to power up.

Step 4. Final Confirmation for the HIVE Power up, tranfer to vesting... recheck the amount of Hive

Step 5. Then redirect to the page, to enter your Masterkey for the confirmation.

this is how you will be do your power up HIVE via Hive wallet platform, when finally your power up is done, check your hive wallet again to check whether the transaction has been successfully done or not... your HIVE POWER will increase and HIVE will reduced, as screenshot has been share, now my HIVE POWER is 216.157 and there is no HIVE shown.

What i learn from the hive platform within 3 to 4 months, benefits of powerup-

• Powerup is related to your resource activities, more HIVE POWER , the more activities like commenting, upvoting, posting and rebogging can be done .

• Higher the HIVE POWER, higher is your voting Powe

• Your Hive Power can also help when you delegate to newly created accounts.

• Your Hive Power is proportional to APR which is currently at 3.37%. The APR is rate of interest paid to you for keeping your HIVE in your wallet in the form of Hive Power.
