<p>While a hurricane barrels up the Louisiana coast, Alaska is at civil unrest with the federal government.</p>
<p> In this alternate reality United States, Atticus Freemont, a computer intelligence analyst for the U.S. Navy meets Rasmari, a journalist from the Pacific Northwest. Together they experience an unnatural storm which brings about martial law in New Orleans.</p>
<p> They soon discover shadows lurking in the recesses of the government and come in contact with an outside band of insurgents fighting for economic freedom from an encompassing and oppressive monetary system in the hands of a few.</p>
