Good morning steemit, I worked on  a dragon last night and wanted to share the process with you guys.
Supplies: sketchbook/piece of paper preferably artist grade paper , hot pressed watercolor paper or design paper.
A slightly wide brush, Wide enough to coat your size paper easily.

(Black ink preferably liquid acrylic ink, but you can use sumi or Indians ink.
Crow quill or something to ink with (micron/brush pen so on, but if you want your lines to have this look u'll have to try a crow quill)

 started off with applying reddish yellow coat of acrylic in a soft and even manner.

After the paint has dried I start sketching a dragon form, a head with a long snakey body.

I've started Detailing the face and body I'm using other animals as references, think wild dogs lizards and Tigers.

I keep adding detailing and distorting the body in what ever way I want because its funn

I erased as much pencil as I could without damaging paint and started inking with my crow quill

At this stage I start adding color in key places I find around the piece that represent different matter, like muscles/organs, trying to break up the space and add a pop to the piece.

After the new paint dries I outline it in ink to help me see the forms more clearly and give my brain as much information as I can about the scene

I'm starting to think about texture, detailing scales around the form trying to follow the contour of his body
I've filled in the scale patterns and most of the detailing, taking a step back through the process to see the big picture

To fill in the background with a dark shade, I'm going to bold the outside of all the forms so it's easier to paint around them
