I see no reason to hold any fiat with the current growth in the crypto space. Real estate is a nice investment plan too if you have the funds, but if you're an average user/investor, then crypto savings like HBD is the perfect way to go. During period of hyperinflation, holding cash is the worst whether it is in the bank or inside the mattress. Remember pictures of people using wheelbarrow to haul worthless cash? And stories where the beer bottle is worth more than the cash you bought it with by the time you finish drinking it? Hyperinflation is a great reset, there would be a lot of government interventions along the way, whether it is coupon to ration food, or confiscation / price fixing on gold, the goal during this period is to survive and hope whatever you hid and stashed can give you a head start when things are back to the new normal. Crypto could make a huge difference if this were to happen again. You can flee to any jurisdictions with nothing other than your memorization of your private keys.
