Inflation is devastating all the currencies on the planet. I feel when it comes to currencies, it is always good to think of the bigger picture. Nowadays its hard to know if the work you are putting in is even worth it. Low interest rates and rates of return have been diminishing everywhere. Taxes makes things even harder and if money velocity picks up because of people spending faster to counterbalance inflation, that could lead to hyperinflation! Even moderate levels of expected inflation can still lead to financial intermediary failure. Governments create inflation as they see fit, at objection from no one. Bitcoin and alt coins I feel can be the answer to this global phenomenon.

Disorder and improbability becomes the new norm. With high inflation, the inhabitants of a country become indecisive about the ways of spending their money, and what to spend their money on. It is under this circumstance that the country's commercial firms become indifferent and less willing towards investment, as they are not sure about their future profits. 

Since high inflation is detrimental to the overall economy but beneficial to the government, the Federal Reserve has a constant balancing act to try to reconcile the government's desires for higher inflation with the need for a healthy economy. But the people can fight back and invest in the future decentralized and away from banks.
