If you want to bring your websites or blogs to live you should take a look at BonsaiJS. It is a lightweight library with an intuitive graphics API and an SVG renderer. It makes creating SVG based web assets and animations.

To see and understand the power of BonsaiJS, I suggest trying out their [Orbit online editor](http://orbit.bonsaijs.org/#new%20Rect(100%2C%20100%2C%20100%2C%20100).fill(%22red%22).addTo(stage)%3B). It is playground to test out BonsaiJS code. It will demonstrate how SVG graphics can be achieved with a few lines of readable code. More importantly, I recommend trying out sample codes and what they produce. 

I hope you will BonsaiJS and integrated it into your current and future webs development projects. Even if you don't plan to develop websites and stand-alone blog, I think you can make use of Orbit online editor to create graphics and animations for other purposes.
