Great post!I'm definitely more of a dreamer,but I'm learning the importance of incorporating realistic considerations.It's a constant work in progress,but the ability to balance both perspectives is key to achieving ambitious goals.

Eheh interesting views on here, we can compare with the classic optimistic vs pessimistic, one will see all things going good, the other one will see all things in bad way... I'm realistic anyways, practical and pragmatic 

This is an awesome way to explain the relationship between dreamers and realist. While dreamers have out-of-this-world Ideas the realist make sure to keep these ideas in check.

Despite everything that might happen, I would like to be a dreamer, at least bonus up in the air and enjoy my freedom, even for a moment. I will have no restrictions. I will not live the life of someone, just for myself and my freedom.

I'm a dreamer! Also, have to be protective of the dream. You want some realist involved so it actually comes to fruition. But over the years, I've found it best to keep your cards close until it's already accomplished! :)

I am a dreamer.  I spend a lot of time chasing goals that ~~sane person~~ realist would consider impossible from the beginning.

Being a dreamer is nice, more when one lives the dream in a realistic way, I'm a dreamer and like to be one, what one pictures in dreams has no boundaries, everything fits. Boundaries pomp up when reality strikes and every dreamer is forced to has his own when the strike comes and feet touch earth, but not for too long, that's how dreamers are, they quickly manage to evade reality and scape back to dreaming. I can say I'm a mix of both. To say it in other words, optimistic vs pessimistic. And i think its normal. 

I agree with the outlook. We need both people because without those dreamers, we wouldn't see all the new stuff. But at the same time, without the realists, I don't think much progress would happen.

I love how this perfectly captures the push-and-pull between dreamers and realists! We need both to make things happen—big ideas with a solid foundation.

I don't know if it's actually possible to change your personality so much during your life, but I was definitely a dreamer (a Pisces - and seriously, I don't believe in signs), but as I got older and the experience of adulthood hit me in the face, I became more and more down to earth. Realistic, skeptical, not at all dreamy or idealistic, it sounds like I've become a grumpy bore, but that's not it, I feel better than ever in terms of ideas and ideologies, expectations and inspirations. Dreaming too much has left me behind many times.

I am a realist most of the time. I always remind people who use the gas pedal that there is also a brake pedal. Both dreamers and realists have positive and negative aspects. The important thing is to meet in the middle.
