I paid a visit to my dentist sister at her clinic last month. On my way to the clinic, I noticed several street art and murals about a kilometer away and decided to check them out afterwards. As I was walking towards where the murals were, I noticed this along the way.

I immediately took a photo of it as I switched to SMASh mode. I looked at what was casting the shadows and took a picture of them. Here they are.

A quartet of unusual looking palm trees. Reminded me of the famous Beatles, really. I looked them up in the internet and found out that these are Fern Palms (Cycas Revoluta or Sago Palm). They're actually ferns but look so much like palm trees. And do you know what else I found out? These plants were widespread as far back as 200 million years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth! Talking about plants straight out from the Jurassic Park.

Anyway, I took another photo of their shadows from the opposite direction. Check it out below.

Ooops. I almost forgot I was still supposed to check out the street art farther down the street. I got to them and saw that they were good too. But that's for another post in the Street Art Community.
