Floating Belly up? It's time to unite minnows against certain death!

<p>There is a massive problem in the ecosystem of Steemit. It has been stated many times, it is very hard for newcomers to get noticed, and if you do get some votes they don’t carry any weight. This alone is not letting many minnows grow into the healthy carp they should be.</p>

<h3>You follow all the amazing advice @cryptogee in his newbie minnow help manual (which netted him many thousands), and you obviously fail while netting you $0.01.</h3>

<p>The $0.01 posts are my favorite! Let me help you understand what is happening very fast.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Content production is on a massive scale which is overcrowding the site with 2things:</p>
<p>(1) Human made garbage</p>
<p>(2) Bot made garbage</p>
<p><br></p>
<p>Automated whale bots are driving the other dolphins to vote on specific authors every time. This is what makes it very difficult but <em>not impossible </em>to get noticed, because the voting power is constantly being used on the same people all the time.</p>
<h3>7series of how to "not have stale coffee" &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;- &nbsp;is that content really such high quality to receive $10k+ in votes?&nbsp;</h3>
<p>I await the blog from @dollarvigilante only saying "<strong>you guys all suck</strong>” and it still receives $3k, like nothing even happened.</p>

<p>It's a tough reality after joining Steemit. There are certainly some stages minnows must endure. But there is some hope,</p>

<p>He swoops in from the sky to pump air into a dead minnows lungs, reviving many in the last breaths of desperation.</p>

<p>Minnows needing to snag a whale to gain some exposure is the problem behind Steemits current situation. But with more minnows arriving every day, It becomes harder and harder to do such a task. Unfortunately the #minnowsunite is becoming flooded with bottom feeders looking to help with promoting their own blogs without helping out others!</p>
<p>It's become a disaster.</p>
<p>There needs to be a change of course in action. There needs to be a method of uniting the massive minnow power to push certain Quality minnow posts into trending section.&nbsp;</p>
<p>What we need is a massive gathering of minnows willing to use their voting power on a fellow minnow when called upon. But with how things seem to be going, I assume many minnows will become greedy and believe they deserve the up votes.&nbsp;</p>
<p>So in order to curb that, instead of attempting to pool together all the weak minnows. I would like to gather a select group of <strong>stronger minnows</strong> with some Steempower, to help in the selection process.</p>
<p>I have created an Invite only channel on the Steemit chat and would like to recruit minnows with over 100 SP. &nbsp;With this private channel, we can share posts we believe deserve the minnow’s attentions while also throwing our full support at each other’s posts. With this, we can hopefully do what all the other whales are doing but and even the game up alittle. Minnows also come in many shapes and sizes, even if your a dolphin, you can always consider yourself a minnow whale. It would be great to have as many as possible within this group, so when we vote on a post we can actually bring it to a reasonable $ amount.&nbsp;</p>
