**DEALING WITH DEATH.**
Read: Rev 6:8.

**O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? – 1 Corinthians 15:55.**

Jesus in Luke 10:19 said “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents, and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you." This list does not stop here, it also includes authority over death. And until that full authority is exercised, death will go on rampaging and ravaging homes. As far as the sphere of the authority Jesus gave to us is concerned, death can be bound so BIND him.
Scripture says in Matt 18:18 that if we dare bind him here on earth, he will remain bound for us in heaven. The message Bible rendering of that says “Anything you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven.” So no one should again say God forbid. You can forbid it yourself.
The sting of death over the Christian is broken for death has been swallowed up in victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you want to deal with death? Stand up to him in faith, stand up to him in the blood for it is by the blood that we overcome. Bring the blood of Jesus over your life and family, death cannot gain access in the blood.
Do you want to defeat death? Then always come by the name of Jesus.
Paul said in Philippians 2:9-10 that by the name of Jesus, not by the mention of the name as we wrongly quote but by the name of Jesus – written, read, painted, drawn, sculptured or whatever form and manner, every knee will bow including death.
Do you want to defeat death? Then always speak the word. Always remind him that he is a defeated foe. Jesus came to Bethany and called forth His friend Lazarus who had been dead for 4 days because He has the power of death. He collected the key of hell from satan and has given it to us. Oh death where is your sting? Oh grave where is your power? Bible says you should rebuke him and he will be far from around you. Speak the word, prophesy life like prophet Ezekiel and all the dryness in your life and family will be a thing of the past.


**Action point. Begin to rebuke every manifestation of death around you and call forth life in the name of Jesus.**
