Yesterday was my mom's birthday and I wasn't really happy because I wasn't financially good. I was down throughout Saturday thinking of how to make her day special, she chose to celebrate at church since it was Sunday.

She is an evangelist and barely stays at home, she is into missionary work which she has dedicated her life to for quite some time now.

We got her new dresses and I had to deliver them to her church very early on Sunday morning. It is about three hours trip to and fro, I was feeling bad because I intended to do it better than I always do. She deserves everything but sometimes things just do not go as planned.

Will the struggles ever be over, I kept getting flashbacks of how many struggles I have been in while trying to make life beautiful for myself and the family.

It is not easy and many times I get scared of what's ahead, I was lost in thought while returning. My phone rang and I didn't even know it was ringing, the passenger sitting new to me called my attention to it and she must saying in her mind that this guy must be really messed up.

It was mom, she called to say the dresses were great and she chose to wear one of them for service. I was glad but it wasn't from the deepest part of my heart. She made me get emotional and I promised to still make her birthday a remarkable one.

She said, "***this is enough. You and your siblings have made my birthday beautiful already"***.

We got into traffic and I was wondering because the roads are always free on Sunday.

When we got to the cause of the traffic, it was an accident.  A new white Lexus jeep was looking rough like it has somersaulted, my vehicle went past the scene and I couldn't get the picture out of my head.

***What is the condition of the people in the car? Did they survive?***

To own such a car means you are financially okay to some extent but what does the wealth amount to when one's life is cut short suddenly?

A lot kept running through my mind and immediately I realized that I have acted like an ingrate again to God.

We sometimes do not see the worth of things just because they aren't coming as we want and it is very terrible to do especially to God.

The gift of life is the most important thing every human need to fulfill any dream they have, what do you think will happen without life? All dreams become dead just like the body is.

This same **life** we don't appreciate is what some people are spending everything they have on because they value its importance.

I might think I am lacking behind with some things but I still have what it takes to achieve those things. Life is the most important thing and having it gives the assurance of accomplishing any other thing if we don't give up.

Is the gift of **life** underrated? Yes, it is. Let's learn to appreciate God always.
