Authenticity goes a long way on a public platform like this one, where everything is available to everyone, anyone can view anything posted here and comment to anything.

When making your introduction post, make sure to add some sort of verification that you who own that account are actually the person you are referring to in the pictures that are added. You don't have to always add a nametag and create a new picture (if that's something you can't do right then), but there are other ways to verify your account. (like posting on your known twitter account or reddit or other social platforms that this is indeed your account you have created here.)

This is something that both the readers and posters benefit from. With verification we know you are telling the truth and are the person you claim to be, and your post will probably do better with trust behind it, plus it takes away the need for "scammers/trolls/earnquickmoney" accounts who claim to be someone they are not.

Remember this site is in the early stages, and it would suck for someone to come on here and notice someone has been posting with their pictures pretending to be them during all this time.
