Hello to all the community of Aliento, this time I come a nostalgic to tell you about my visit to the Fermín Toro University, located in Cabudare, Edo. Lara, where I have been studying for almost 5 years, and which I have not visited for 2 years, when the pandemic began.
>Hola a toda la comunidad de Aliento, en esta ocasión vengo un nostálgico a contarles acerca de mi visita a la Universidad Fermín Toro, ubicada en Cabudare, Edo. Lara, lugar donde estudio desde hace casi 5 años, y la cual no visitaba desde hace 2 años, cuando comenzó la pandemia.

It turns out that I am finishing my 9th semester and it was time to go there to look for information about things related to the internship and my thesis, both essential requirements to obtain my degree in Electrical Engineering, so I invited my girlfriend to accompany me and so I could give her a tour so she could know a little where I was studying.
>Resulta que estoy culminando el 9no semestre y era momento de acercarme por allá a buscar información sobre cosas relacionadas con la pasantía y mi tesis, ambas, requisitos indispensables para obtener mi título de Ingeniero Electricista, por lo que invité a mi novia para que me acompañara y así poder darle un recorrido para que conociera un poco donde estudiaba.

As we walked in, I showed him around the engineering building, where I spent most of my time in my long-missed on-site classes, and since the office we were going to was one of the last ones, I was able to show them around quite a bit.
>Al entrar le fui mostrando un poco las instalaciones del edificio de ingeniería, donde pasaba el mayor tiempo en mis añoradas clases presenciales, y como la oficina a la que nos dirigíamos era una de las últimas, pude mostrarles bastante el lugar.

Then, we went to another office, the internship department, which was on the other side of the university, something that suited me perfectly to show him the rest of the places that although I didn't visit so often, are one of the most beautiful of the whole university, I am talking about the famous water fountains of the university, which were not working lately, but to my surprise, now they were in service, which made me very happy because they reminded me of my beginnings at the university, so we took the opportunity to take some souvenir photos, and just look how amazing this photo was.
>Luego, nos debíamos dirigir a otra oficina, el departamento de pasantía, el cual quedaba al otro lado de la universidad, cosa que me venía como anillo al día para mostrarle el resto de lugares que aunque no visitaba tan frecuente, son uno de los más bonitos de toda la universidad, y estoy hablando de las famosas fuentes de agua de la universidad y que en el último tiempo no estaban funcionando, pero que para mi sorpresa, ahora si estaban en servicio, lo cual me alegró mucho ya que me recordaban mis comienzos en la universidad, por lo que aprovechamos para tomar algunas fotos de recuerdo, y miren nada más lo increíble que quedó esta foto.

After the photo session, as we continued walking to the office, I ran into several familiar professors who had taught me in the past, it was nice to see them, and even nicer that they remembered me after such a long time without seeing me.
>Luego de la sesión de fotos, mientras seguíamos caminando hacia la oficina, me topé con varios profesores conocidos que me habían dado clase en el pasado, fue grato verlos, y más aún que se acordaran de mi después de tanto tiempo sin vernos.

Finally, on the outskirts of the university, we visited the famous Arco Iris bakery, a meeting place for students, either to eat, do homework or just sit and talk, officially this bakery has no link with the university, but due to its proximity, even, there is an entrance to the university right next to it, it became very popular among students and professors, becoming mistakenly the university bakery, as many call it.
>Por último, y ya a las afueras de la universidad, visitamos la famosa panadería Arco Iris, lugar de reunión para los estudiantes, ya sea para comer, hacer tareas o simplemente sentarse a charlas, oficialmente esta panadería no tiene ningún vínculo con la universidad, pero debido a cercanía, incluso, hay una entrada a la universidad justo a un lado, esta se volvió muy querida por lo estudiantes y profesores, convirtiéndose erróneamente en la panadería de la universidad, como muchos la llaman.

Personally, this was a visit full of nostalgia, because, although I had not visited since March 2020, going back to those corridors, to that bakery, made me remember all the good and not so good moments I lived there, the friendships I made and all the learning I acquired there, even, an interesting detail and not minor, is that the day I met this incredible platform, I did it from one of the computers in the computer lab on the recommendation of a colleague with whom I have not had contact for some time, but it left me something very positive in my life.
>Personalmente, esta fue una visita llena de nostalgia, ya que, aunque no la visitaba desde marzo de 2020, volver a esos pasillos, a esa panadería, mi hizo recordar todos los buenos y no tan buenos momento allí vividos, las amistades que hice y todas el aprendizaje que allí adquirí, incluso, un detalle interesante y nada menor, es que el día que conocí esta increíble plataforma, lo hice desde una de las computadoras del laboratorio de computación por la recomendación de un compañero con el que desde hace tiempo no tengo contacto, pero vaya que me dejó algo muy positivo en mi vida.
