She took a cab and booked herself into a hotel. She was totally against the modelling job in Paris, and John did not want to see any reason. They said things to each other tonight and she didn’t know if they would ever recover. </p> <p>When she stormed out of the house she felt as if it she could just hop on a plane and fly away from all the stress. Julia ordered a bottle of wine for herself and took a long relaxing bath. She felt much better after the bath and dried her hair quickly before getting into bed with her robe. She didn’t even pack anything as she was too furious, but she was not going to give in. She was as stubborn as a mule and was not going to budge.</p> <p>https://imgoat.com/uploads/03ce9225fc/142192.png </p> <p>Things had changed a lot during the last few years, and she was much more hands on with her daughter. She knew Alexis better than anyone else, because Alexis was exactly like her. Perhaps that’s what scared her the most. Alexis was a perfect replica of herself, and she knew exactly what a brat she was at that age. </p> <p>She always got everything she wanted, and it was only recently that she realized that others also had to be taken into consideration. She was ashamed of herself because of the way that she behaved at times. Even after she and John were married. She was always headstrong and set in her ways and it was difficult to change, but John accepted her like she was. </p> <p>He ever expected her to change. She loved him with all her heart, but he was too soft. The worst thing is that he allowed her to walk all over him, and she took advantage of that. She had made a lot of mistakes in her own life, but she was not going to make the same mistakes with her daughter. </p> <p>There were times when she thought he had toughened up. Like the time she went to Paris for three months, but in the end, he allowed her to go even though she wished he asked her to stay. It was a tough world out there. She has felt the pressure, and when she met John, she hoped that he would calm her down and help her to settle down a little, but she still got away with everything. </p> <p>She was not going to allow her daughter to change into the fool she was. Julia fell asleep. He was still sitting in Alexis’s room. He checked the alarm clock and realized that he had fallen asleep. He was so exhausted after the horrible fight they had and saw that it was nearly three o clock in the morning. He quickly got up and walked over to their bedroom. There was no sight of Julia and he was worried. </p> <p>He dialed her number, but it went straight to voicemail and he threw the phone on the bed. He sat with his hands in his hair thinking about the fight they had. He couldn’t understand why she was so angry with him. He had always given her enough rope, and he didn’t think that it was wrong to let Alexis follow the same route. </p> <p>Julia seemed to have turned out pretty good, and she had a wonderful career as a model. He had always struggled to understand Julia. He never wanted to keep her from achieving her full potential, and with all the craziness in their relationship he knew at times it didn’t even help to try and stop her. </p> <p>He just had to let her go. He was wide awake now and went down to make himself some coffee. He sat drinking coffee at the kitchen table and his eyes fell upon the last drawing on the fridge. He couldn’t believe that a six-year-old was capable of drawing that. </p> <p>She was an outstanding artist, and he wanted only the best for his child. Perhaps Julia was right. They had been so happy these last few years.
