The effects of certain human behavior is devastating to the Eco-system. This includes water, air, life and land. Millions of animals are killed each year and our natural resources are polluted because of human behavior. Some effects are almost immeasurable. </p> <h2>Pollution</h2> <p><br></p> <p>People don’t have access to clean water anymore, due to pollution and the air in some areas of the world is toxic. Beaches are full of litter that goes back into the ocean and that kills the animals in the ocean. </p> <p>Humans produce nearly 300 tons of plastic each year. It takes nearly 450 years for one plastic bottle to disintegrate. Aluminium cans can take up to 200 years to disintegrate and disposable nappies can take 500 years to disintegrate. That is a very long time and people five generations from now will still struggle with our waste. </p> <p>New factories are build daily. The air is polluted due to waste products from these factories which make people sick. Sulphur oxide emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal and petroleum has an immense effect on the air and the gases from cars, trucks and other transport methods contribute to the pollution. </p> <p>All in all pollution contributes to Global warming and this also has a negative effect on everyone on earth. </p> <h2>What is global warming?</h2> <p><br></p> <p>Global warming is a term that describes the rising of the earth’s temperature. Although earth had had certain extremes before, due to the natural changes in the atmosphere, global warming happens due to too much carbon dioxide that is disposed into the air as well as too many greenhouse gases. </p> <p>This is an extremely great problem as greenhouse gases is a natural way for earth to protect itself. Greenhouse gases protects the earth from freezing as it protects the earth from the sun and keeps the earth warm. Due to and excessive amount of greenhouse gases being disposed in the air, the earth will continue to become warmer and warmer. This will result in the following:</p> <ul> <li>Glaciers will melt, and cause the ocean level to rise. </li> <li>Animals move away from areas where there is not enough vegetation which disrupts the Eco-system. </li> <li>More natural disasters will take place. </li> </ul> <p>All of the above has an influence on the normal Eco-system which ultimately damages the earth. All these changes influences the water cycle, carbon and oxygen cycle. </p> <p>All our energy and heat comes from the sun. Due to natural fluctuations in the behavior of the sun it can actually change how much energy actually reaches the earth. </p> <h2> What can we do to help earth and ultimately save ourselves?</h2> <p><br></p> <ul> <li>Stop pollution. </li> <li>Stop using plastic containers</li> <li>Recycle</li> <li>Re-use</li> <li>Use natural products </li> <li>Reduce carbon dioxide by using renewable energy sources like solar, energy and wind energy. </li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p>Every time you recycle, whether it’s plastic, metal or glass or even when you just pick up trash, you have a positive impact on the earth. I think when I recycle it just gets dumped in the ocean anyway - I do still recycle of course, but did you know that the US sends it's recycling to China??? and now that we are pissing china off they are saying no more recycling... sad sad sad.

We really are killing ourselves, this has accelerated in the last 50 years, we are fast running out of time to rectify. Is it convenience, laziness, greed, that has allowed us to be sucked into this craziness! One thing 100% correct ~ humans are biggest killers, most dangerous animals on earth.
