I believe that certain people come over your path to teach you certain things in life, and if they are no longer needed, they disappear from your life. I have also learned not to ask questions about certain things in life anymore and to accept whatever happens. I firmly believe that everything in life happens for a reason, and even if we don't understand the reason these things will still happen.

Even though we make conscious decisions, the outcomes we want are not always desirable, and we have to accept the cards we are dealt.

Take it or leave it but you cannot choose what happens in your life. Things just don't always work out the way we want it.

One of the most difficult things in life I had to do was to go through a divorce. I did everything in my power to save my marriage but it was impossible. I was being accused of having affairs with everyone, and if there is one thing in life that I cannot stand, it is to be accused of something that I didn't do.

I had two young children but with a lot of prayer, we all got through that very difficult time. If I look back at that now, I cannot believe that I was stupid enough to marry him in the first place, but at least I got two beautiful intelligent sons from this disaster of a marriage.

A few years later I met my current husband and life started to make sense again. I've known him for many years, and he says that he has always had a crush on me since he was sixteen. Unfortunately we both married the wrong people and we were both a bit broken when we started going out. His wife left him for another woman, so his manhood was crushed. He had two small kids so all of a sudden I had four kids!

My current husband (not that I plan to get married ever again) immediately accepted my children as his own, as their father was not in the picture anymore. We all lived in the same town, but their father did not put in any effort. He saw the kids two weekends per month and that was it, even though he could see them whenever he wanted.

After our divorce my ex-husband moved in with one of the ladies that worked with him, and he is still with her today (so perhaps there was more behind his accusations at that time)

We have not spoken much since, and my children are now at a point where they decided not to contact him anymore. I am very grateful for the way my children turned out as they are stable, hardworking and can stand on their own two feet.

My husband's kids lived with their mother, and she tried her best to keep them away from me as much as possible. She was an instigator and she tried everything in her power to make me look like the bad person. If the kids had problems in school, I was the cause, and for any other issue in their lives, I was also the cause.

I just couldn't win. Luckily my husband saw through all her drama and I kept on building a relationship with the kids. At one point I thought we had won, because they begged to come live with us, but she refused. We then tried our best to get custody through court but the court decided they had to stay with her. This is where my battle started. Those poor kids grew up in a very unstable home, and we tried our best to get custody of the children but the court decided they had to stay with her.

Isn't it funny how life just turns out sometimes? With all honestly, my divorce was hard, but the most difficult thing I ever had to do was to raise my husband's children with a problematic ex-wife. She absolutely hated me for no reason, and I reckon HATE is used in the correct context here. (although it is a strong emotional word) but she really HATES me!

She is an evil woman and tried her best to ruin the relationship between me and her children. Believe me, if someone really hates you it is no fun at all, and it didn't matter what I did, nothing could fix the relationship between me and her.

I cannot remember everything she accused me of, but at some point she accused me of being incapable of looking after her children. I am well-respected educator and I work with many people's children daily, but NEVER in my life have I been accused of being incapable.

I was totally crushed, but even though she was making my life hell, her children were still just small children and I treated them with the utmost respect. A child did not ask to be here, and doesn't deserve to be treated differently just because he/she had a sick parent.

-To be continued-

https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/453577536413237258/477155905461551111/logo.png?width=270&height=270

https://steemitimages.com/DQmd73NC2v4u5AFvdqmUiSzSE9NF3JyDTaPN74W5czMZvSQ/giantbear.png

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/0x0/https://imgoat.com/uploads/974ce5ac66/102157.gif

Animated Banner Created By @zord189

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/0x0/https://imgoat.com/uploads/f93f983524/109474.gif

I have always believed that life works exactly as it is supposed to. I believe that certain people come your way to teach you certain things in life, and if they are no longer necessary, they disappear from your life. I have always thought the same thing, there are people who come into our lives to make something specific happen and then disappear, your article is very good
