But I also have a canoe that has a built in cooler in the center. It's great for going for a nice paddle with a buddy. Paddle upstream for a ways ... then bring the paddles in the hull, enjoy a beverage and let the current bring us back to base while we chat.

I like your canoe idea! I always head up stream first when on a river...Going down then having to paddle back up isn't enjoyable; easier to let the current do the work. Also, to have something I wrote compared to @meesterboom is a compliment. Thank you. 😊
