Monomad Blossom

# White Blossom Monomad

These blossoms are just beginning to open and actually look more interesting in monomad form. They are white anyway and the bark of the tree is quite dark so turning them into black and white adds to the contrast.

I like how you can see several stages of growth in just a single area of the tree.

This is also a macro shot since the blossoms here are bigger than in real life.

This is not easy to achieve with my Samsung A5 smartphone but I've learnt, this week, that the greater the contrast in the subject matter the more likely I am to be able to get a decent close up.
