😆Welcome to this great publication that I make about my experience in the FILVEN event; for those who are outside the territory that includes Venezuela and the Capital District, this event is carried out by the Central Government in order to promote an international book fair.
In this way the habit of reading is promoted and also making known the process to new writers such as books from other countries or publishers inside and outside the country.
On this occasion I will show you the different types of books that you can get in this International Book Fair and in turn that you can acquire either with payment methods (biopago- electronic card, cash $).
Entering the structure of the National Art Gallery to see the stand product of the Filven event among the most exciting and even somewhat epic was to see understand and observe that there were stands of the embassies of Algeria, Cuba, Egypt and Colombia and other representations that surely did not give me time to see.
Very little is heard in Venezuela about Algeria, so to observe that there were books about its history, culture, gastronomy and its most iconic thinkers, for me represents a great effort so that the population of Venezuela can understand through their books part of its history and other aspects.
In the same way it happened to me with Cuba, this time what called my attention to the extent of generating a smile on my face was to see the gastronomic book "La Cocina de un Cubano" by the Cuban Chef Veimar Nestor Loyola Fonseca.
Although I would have loved to buy it for my mother, since she is a Chef and is always willing to see how to read gastronomic recipes from other brother countries, the cost was somewhat high, even so I present it to you so you can see all the varied and diverse topics that are in each of the embassies; it is only a matter of readers taking advantage of the opportunity and open our minds to new knowledge.
Even more surprising for me was to find the stand of the Embassy of Egypt, in which there were also a large number of books talking about the history of Egypt and brochures showing part of the landscape that represents it as its beautiful pyramids and statues.
One innovation or great initiative to applaud was the T-shirts with printed phrases from books, which I personally loved.
Another aspect to highlight was being able to see the stand of the Máxima Visión Foundation, which to place them in context they help people with certain disabilities; for the event they specially created a small black and white newspaper-style magazine where they talk about the values of the foundation as their vision.
You can also see how people reported through paper their experience regarding the obstacles placed by life.
Then the stand of the National Assembly is presented, an organization affiliated and directly allied to the government, for this occasion this organization promoted the sale of books related to the history of Venezuela, as well as books related to: The programmatic agenda of: The Communes, Youth, Women and Gender Equality; all these copies in turn had a QR code which could be scanned to see their review and obtain the book digitally.
In a similar way, these cardboards were shown at the stand where certain books were shown with their titles written in Spanish, the author who had written them and the QR code to be downloaded online.
Without a doubt, it is important to recognize the advancement of technology and the digital that nowadays books are scanned for their translation into the desired language, as well as that they can also be obtained simply by scanning the QR.
As you can see in the event many bookstores participated as Instagram pages that showed their presence and filled their stand with a great diversity of books, even you can see that they were also selling the globes as certain puzzles for the little ones of the house.
I must point out that the books that were visibly priced were not so expensive, an example of this is the Nursing book that had a cost of 60.00 Bs which in $ is equivalent to approximately $ 6.00 with 20 cents really economic to be a book of a specialty such as nursing.
For people who have children from 7 years and older they can attend the event to buy stories of the stories they want, as I could briefly see some of Christmas, other family, with teachings of values, rights, such as duties at home, as well as how to face certain fears.
On the other hand, there are also books of religious themes, in this case the ones I could appreciate the most are those referring to the Holy Bible as the power of the Word and how these behind their writings can impact the life of the person who has them, so as to reflect on certain events that often happen in life that can be overcome through faith and reflection.
As already mentioned, there are several stands that promote books specialized in certain areas; in this particular case, Editorial Arte, with 65 years of experience, had on display books related to the architecture of Venezuela represented in books such as: Indigenous Architecture of Venezuela by the author Graziano Gasparini and Luise Margolies, as well as Listening to the Monument by the same author Graziano Gasparini, all of them for sale.

Actually going to the event is part of the personal growth as informative and cultural of the people who attend, I really learned in a short time about the existence of many publishers that I did not know and their location in the Capital District, as well as there are times when certain authors attend this event to comment on a book already published.
In my particular case, a book that caught my attention was Descubre Amazonas by CadenaCapriles publishing house; for me it meant a lot to be able to buy this book, since I feel that very little is said and it is still unknown about the great cultural value that exists in the Venezuelan Amazonas State.
This book is partly informative and in its pages there are illustrations about the existing indigenous population within the territory, the Fauna that covers the entire Amazon as its flora and gastronomy as a detailed map of the territory, so now I can show my friends and acquaintances how great is the Venezuelan Amazon.
I really enjoyed going to this event and now I leave with great knowledge and a new book.
