### <strong><center>Éxtasis literario</center></strong>
<br>

“La lectura es aburrida” dicen aquellos que no leen lo suficiente o nada. Para un escritor plasmar en palabras vivas o agonizantes lo que siente, sintió e imagina que experimentará y reflejarlo a través de una historia con diversos personajes, es más que expresión, es una forma de vivir. He leído lo que es cierto. Existe un contrato relativamente tangible e ilusorio entre la relación escritor-lector. Las ansias del lector deben ser saciadas con las palabras sólidas en el ejemplar que se encuentra en sus manos, para al final ser consumido por el placer que llena su alma al leer un buen libro.
<br>
Éste tipo de éxtasis es muy peculiar y tiene vida propia. Su nacimiento proviene de la atención dedicada en el título de la obra, o ya sea en el nombre familiar o desconocido de aquel autor/a. Produciendo un ligero cosquilleo en la hermosa y peligrosa pareja que rige y demanda la mayoría de nuestras acciones como seres humanos, llamada Curiosidad y Expectación. Su cuerpo se va materializando con cada dificultad y con cada logro que se presentan en la trama de dicha historia. Cada lágrima, grito, sonrisa, frustración y gozo por los que tiene que atravesar él o los personajes del libro, equivalen a las capas de piel en las que el lector debe sumergirse y apoderarse. El coraje y la cobardía penden de un hilo muy delgado y frágil, como la hebra más fina del cabello de una mendiga a la que la higiene es escasa y el cuidado, ficticio. 
<br>
Los capítulos próximos a leer resguardan una promesa, que al concluir la lectura de cada una de las letras en tinta impresa, completen el vacío y la necesidad de una mejor vida o de una buena muerte para el ser que interpreta el relato, y al que se le ha asignado un nombre. 
<br>
La piel no basta, se forma algo más. Un engranaje infinito por debajo de la piel y su textura, en el que lo único que lo mueve es el sentir, dolor o amor, en realidad no importa; solo sentir. Las páginas han sido pasadas, una y otra vez. 
<br>
Las expectativas del nacimiento incrementaron a medida que se iban pasando las hojas. Un final como el esperado parece tener posibilidades, semejante a un navío en el extremo de un muelle, divagando si zarpar o no por una tormenta apaciguada, pero del todo incierta. 
<br>
Al llegar a la mitad (o tal vez un poco más) del libro, su estructura es definida y grácil. Su personalidad astuta pero inocente, pasiva pero condescendiente, cautivante con atisbos de fascinación por el control total. 
<br>
La emoción dominada hace estragos en el cuerpo, ya que la mente es el escenario de tan magnífica obra de teatro, en la que los ojos son el portal de comunicación de las palabras pronunciadas por aquellos individuos. Las alas son desplegadas bajo la luz efímera de la ilusión. El final se acerca, está solo a unas páginas, insignificante número de hojas que permite saborear el no tan distante desenlace mortífero o vibrante de vida. El cuerpo del lector se tensa a orillas del asiento, sus músculos se contraen, siente un peso doloroso pero soportable, subiendo y bajando simultáneamente de cabeza a pies y de regreso. Solo el escritor puede saber cuáles fueron sus intenciones y si éstas proporcionarán el viento para las alas construidas o en cambio serán quemadas por un fin amargo pero realista (tanto como se pueda ser, ya que el libro en sí está fabricado a base de realidad, pero no es ella su punto fuerte). 
<br>
La página final se encuentra a la vista, es contemplada por el lector. El éxtasis estalla en millones de besos electrizantes en contacto con las fibras nerviosas y musculares del espectador que fue testigo de la obra sin precedentes. Ha subido al cielo y bajado en paracaídas, lentamente, sin necesidad de acelerar el sentimiento.
<br>
El libro está ahora completamente leído e inmóvil en las manos del lector. La historia ha llegado a su fin, como el testigo deseaba o al contrario, pero ha concluido. Si fue un buen libro, la mayoría de la audiencia lo certificará, si no lo ha sido, al menos le ha permitido al lector escabullirse en un túnel vagamente alumbrado lejos de la realidad, aunque sea por un momento. 
<br>
Cuando decidimos leer un libro, o mejor dicho, cuando un libro nos encuentra, ser sumiso y paciente es el camino más agradable. Por el contrario, si se elige el camino reticente y apresurado, al final la historia no logrará atraparnos, envolvernos. Como un insecto es apenas capturado por una araña y se mueve desesperadamente, en vez de aceptar su destino y abrazarlo, dejándose vencer. Pocos podemos experimentar el placer de terminar un libro y sentirse libre, permitirse sentir por un momento lo que ha sentido el personaje de la historia. Pueden llamarlo como mejor se identifiquen: felicidad lectora, orgasmo mental, etapa satisfactoria literaria, entre otros. El hecho es que la dicha está ahí. 
<br>
Un libro es más que hojas y tinta, al igual que el escritor es más que un ser que conoce de literatura.

### <strong><center>Literary ecstasy</center></strong>
<br>

"Reading is boring" say those who do not read enough or at all. For a writer to capture in living or agonizing words what he feels, felt and imagines he will experience and reflect it through a story with diverse characters, is more than expression, it is a way of living. I have read what is true. There is a relatively tangible and illusory contract between the writer-reader relationship. The reader's cravings must be satiated with the solid words in the copy in his hands, to ultimately be consumed by the pleasure that fills his soul when reading a good book.
<br>
This type of ecstasy is very peculiar and has a life of its own. Its birth comes from the attention devoted in the title of the work, or either in the familiar or unknown name of that author. Producing a slight tingling in the beautiful and dangerous couple that governs and demands most of our actions as human beings, called Curiosity and Expectation. Its body materializes with each difficulty and with each achievement presented in the plot of the story. Every tear, scream, smile, frustration and joy that he or the characters in the book have to go through are equivalent to the layers of skin that the reader must immerse himself in and take hold of. Courage and cowardice hang by a very thin and fragile thread, like the finest strand of hair of a beggar girl to whom hygiene is scarce and care, fictitious. 
<br>
The next chapters to read keep a promise, that at the conclusion of the reading of each of the letters in printed ink, complete the emptiness and the need for a better life or a good death for the being who interprets the story, and who has been assigned a name. 
<br>
The skin is not enough, something else is formed. An infinite gear beneath the skin and its texture, in which the only thing that moves it is feeling, pain or love, it doesn't really matter; just feeling. The pages have been turned, over and over again. 
<br>
Expectations of the birth increased as the pages were turned. An ending as expected seems to have possibilities, akin to a ship at the end of a dock, wavering whether or not to set sail through a calming, but altogether uncertain storm. 
<br>
By the middle (or perhaps a bit more) of the book, her structure is definite and graceful. Her personality sly but innocent, passive but condescending, captivating with glimpses of fascination with total control. 
<br>
The dominated emotion ravages the body, as the mind is the stage for such a magnificent play, where the eyes are the portal of communication of the words spoken by those individuals. Wings are spread under the ephemeral light of illusion. The end is near, it is only a few pages away, an insignificant number of pages that allows us to savor the not so distant outcome, deadly or vibrant with life. The reader's body tenses at the edge of the seat, his muscles contract, he feels a painful but bearable weight, simultaneously rising and falling from head to toe and back again. Only the writer can know what his intentions were and whether they will provide the wind for the wings built or instead be burned away by a bitter but realistic end (as much as one can be, for the book itself is fabricated from reality, but it is not its strong point). 
<br>
The final page is in sight, is contemplated by the reader. Ecstasy bursts out in millions of electrifying kisses in contact with the nerve and muscle fibers of the spectator who witnessed the unprecedented work. He has climbed into the sky and parachuted down, slowly, without the need to accelerate the feeling.
<br>
The book is now completely read and motionless in the reader's hands. The story has come to an end, as the witness wished, or the other way around, but it has concluded. If it was a good book, the majority of the audience will attest to that, if it was not, at least it has allowed the reader to slip away into a vaguely lit tunnel away from reality, if only for a moment. 
<br>
When we decide to read a book, or rather, when a book finds us, being submissive and patient is the most pleasant path. On the contrary, if one chooses the reluctant and hurried path, in the end the story will fail to catch us, to envelop us. Like an insect is barely captured by a spider and moves desperately, instead of accepting its fate and embracing it, letting itself be defeated. Few of us can experience the pleasure of finishing a book and feeling free, allowing ourselves to feel for a moment what the character in the story has felt. You can call it whatever you like: reading bliss, mental orgasm, literary satisfaction, among others. The fact is that the bliss is there. 
<br>
A book is more than leaves and ink, just as the writer is more than a being who knows about literature.
