### <strong><center>Madre Tierra, te pido perdón</center></strong>
<br><br>

<div class="text-justify">Antes de mí, antes de todo. Tus ramas son firmes y tus raíces profundas. Tu viento es fresco y tus colores cálidos. Allá donde tus hijos con alas, de cuatro patas o con astas, pueden vivir sin recibir de nosotros ninguna amenaza, allá me gustaría vivir. Donde los tiburones no sean asesinados para disfrutar de un platillo, ni donde las jirafas mueran por la ola de calor que ha sido solo nuestra culpa, ambiciosos y arrogantes de creer que podemos manejar las repercusiones de nuestra misma destrucción, allá me gustaría vivir. Donde yo solo sea un huésped en tu hábitat y no un mezquino humano que osa a creer que el suelo que está pisando es de su propiedad debido a una firma en un contrato. 
<br><br>
Ojalá pudiera salvar tus especies en extinción, ojalá pudiera limpiar tu aire lleno de carbón, ojalá pudiera absorber toda nuestra contaminación. Los años pasan y hay huelgas de científicos gritando aterrados el peligro inminente, mientras que las cámaras voltean hacia un juicio entre celebridades sobre los cuales prefieren enfocar el lente. Es cierto lo que dicen, “siembras lo que cosechas”.
<br><br>
Un mundo lleno de ciudades y donde los elefantes se han visto en la necesidad de nacer sin desarrollar colmillos, producto del instinto y de la cacería brutal y cruel que por años han recibido. Donde sabiendo que el final de las abejas y de aquella mariposa monarca, podría hacer colapsar el equilibrio del mundo, pero aun así dando más importancia a la adquisición del último álbum y a la nueva película taquillera que se estrenará en cada cine del mundo.
<br><br>
Aun reciclando, donando y siendo miembro activo de la concientización para los humanos, solo mis esfuerzos y el de mi pequeña población que para ti quiere lo mejor, será difícil que todo el daño que se te ha hecho disminuya al nivel que requiere tu corazón. Estamos corriendo contra reloj, pero no todos logran ver la cuenta regresiva advirtiendo el Armagedón.
<br><br>
Las semillas plantadas no superan la cantidad de vida que ha sido talada, las especies que en cautiverio son salvadas no se comparan con todas aquellas que solo en los libros y documentales pueden ser recordadas. Tus nubes grises se han tornado en huracanes y tus tierras alteradas se han convertido en volcanes. 
<br><br>
Protector de ti soy, rescatando trozos de tu corazón, deseando un mundo mejor y luchando cada día para que se detenga la contaminación. Madre tierra que tanto nos has dado, perdón por tanto daño. Tus flores que atraen a los colibríes se han opacado, tus glaciares se han descongelado y estaciones alrededor del mundo han cambiado. 
<br><br>
Mi grano de arena en ti deposito, rezando porque más personas se unan entendiendo el conflicto. De ti soy admirador, embelesado por tus colores en el atardecer acuarela que le indica hora de reposo al león. Gracias por tu agua dulce que ha calmado mi sed, por tus frutas y vegetales que me han servido para comer, por tus montañas altas que me recuerdan lo pequeño que en realidad puedo ser. Y por darnos a todos un lugar donde crecer, a pesar de haber expropiado y violado hasta el núcleo de tu ser, dejándote en bancarrota sin posibilidad de hacer un reintegro completo antes de la hora cero, si toda la humanidad no termina de comprender. </div><br>

### <strong><center>Mother Earth, I ask your forgiveness</center></strong>
<br><br>

<div class="text-justify">Before me, before everything. Your branches are firm and your roots are deep. Your wind is fresh and your colors are warm. Wherever your winged, four-legged or antlered children can live without any threat from us, I would like to live there. Where sharks are not killed to enjoy a dish, nor where giraffes die from the heat wave that has been only our fault, ambitious and arrogant to believe that we can handle the repercussions of our own destruction, there I would like to live. Where I am just a guest in your habitat and not a petty human who dares to believe that the ground he is treading on is his property because of a signature on a contract. 
<br><br>
I wish I could save your endangered species, I wish I could clean your carbon-filled air, I wish I could absorb all our pollution. Years go by and there are strikes of scientists screaming in terror of the impending danger, while the cameras turn to a celebrity trial on which they prefer to focus the lens. It's true what they say, "you reap what you sow".
<br><br>
A world full of cities and where elephants have had to be born without developing tusks, a product of instinct and the brutal and cruel hunting they have received for years. Where knowing that the end of the bees and that monarch butterfly, could collapse the balance of the world, but still giving more importance to the acquisition of the latest album and the new blockbuster movie that will be released in every theater in the world.
<br><br>
Even by recycling, donating and being an active member of awareness for humans, just my efforts and that of my small population that for you wants the best, it will be difficult for all the damage that has been done to you to diminish to the level that your heart requires. We are racing against the clock, but not everyone is able to see the countdown warning of Armageddon.
<br><br>
The seeds planted do not exceed the amount of life that has been cut down, the species that in captivity are saved do not compare to all those that only in books and documentaries can be remembered. Your gray clouds have turned into hurricanes and your altered lands have become volcanoes. 
<br><br>
Protector of you I am, rescuing pieces of your heart, wishing for a better world and fighting every day to stop pollution. Mother earth you have given us so much, forgive us for so much damage. Your flowers that attract hummingbirds have faded, your glaciers have thawed and seasons around the world have changed. 
<br><br>
My grain of sand in you I deposit, praying that more people unite in understanding the conflict. I am an admirer of you, enraptured by your colors in the watercolor sunset that tells the lion to rest. Thank you for your sweet water that has quenched my thirst, for your fruits and vegetables that have served me to eat, for your high mountains that remind me how small I can really be. And for giving us all a place to grow, despite having expropriated and raped to the core of your being, leaving you bankrupt with no possibility of making a full refund before the zero hour, if all of humanity doesn't understand. </div>
