This might be the longest I've gone. I had a period of over a week back toward the latter part of June that was pretty bad. Without going back and looking at it, though, I couldn't tell you how I fared there. At any rate, I don't know that anything I'm doing right now feels weird. It is what it is. I'm trying to find a balance right now between helping my wife and doing this, but there really isn't one. The time has to be spent in her favor, at least for another week, I think. By Wednesday, next week, my guess is she will be up and around more than she can be now, which means I could be back doing this more regularly, but just as likely, she'll have more for me to do. Right now, other than her own needs, she's kept the chores deal to a minimum. :) Not that there aren't any to do. I've been doing some of it and so have the kids.

thanks so much for getting back to me Glen. so you are doing all the cooking and cleaning until she can comfortably be on her feet and moving around normally again?
how is her paint level , is it getting better?
I did a post 2 days about that I think you would enjoy seeing because it's about Indian cowboys but the photos are what's interesting about it and I don't know anyone who analyzes better than you the people, clothing, attitudes and things like that so I think you would find it interesting if you haven't already. not asking for a vote or anything, just thought you might find it educational and those that the post is about Indians from your area or state, Shoshone.

Hey, @practicalthought. Thanks for the kind words. Wasn't feeling much like 'grief-ing' this evening. So, when I realized where this was going I thought another combination of tasks might be good, since I've been meaning to do another for comedyopenmic. My humor just doesn't seem to rise to the level, though, so I get a little picky about what I throw their way. And then I'm never sure if I even should bother. It's all very subjective. Not sure if you're being funny or actually psychoanalyzing me. :) Not sure how you got from what I wrote about our crossword bumblers to me, but it does kind of fit. I mean, I can be really good at combining and mingling if I try, it just takes more effort than I care to put into it or maintain.

Well, I'm glad I was able to get a little smile. I spent about four hours thinking on and then leaving and then coming back to write this and finally came up with what I wrote.

Basically, I didn't want to open a vein, as you put it, on anything—real or imaginary. Wasn't in the mood to explore that. And I kind of like to hide the prompt, too, so didn't really want it front and center.
