I've heard several times that a trader should be someone with a cold headed, calculative, and no room for emotions while trading, so he should be attentive only to hard, objective data without letting his subjectivity make bad decisions.

And although I agree with much of this, there is another part that is not talked about and in fact can be very interesting to place in our analysis of the markets, because it can give us very relevant information when we are able to observe it.

By this I mean emotions, which is what we try to control and avoid as much as possible, and what happens is that our emotions can give us a lot of relevant information, when it comes to seeing the fear and ambition that can exist in the markets.

I recently published an article that refers to the fact that I am afraid of the course that the markets may take at present, due to the great drop in their prices and the possible breakage of the most important supports, and even though I felt this, I said that I would not sell anything at all because I could understand that when I feel fear, the market is about to rise again.

We should not only take into account what we feel, because there are other objective data that should give us more information to be able to analyze what is going to happen, but emotions should not be left aside either, because what we feel could be felt by other people who are watching the market, and when everyone is selling, it is difficult for the price to go down further because there are no sellers left, and when the price is going up and creates ambition in people, it can be returned because there may be few buyers left who will push the price up.

The emotions we feel can be alarms that tell us what the market may be doing, according to the verticality of its trend and the way it has moved lately, and knowing that no market moves infinitely up or down, we can take into consideration the emotional indicator as a possible change of trend, we just have to be open to understand what we feel.

He podido escuchar varias veces que un trader debe ser alguien con cabeza fría, calculador y sin espacio para emociones mientras están operando, por lo que debe estar atento únicamente a los datos duros y objetivos sin dejar que su subjetividad le deje tomar malas decisiones.

Y aunque estoy de acuerdo con gran parte de esto, hay otra parte que no se habla y de hecho puede ser muy interesante de colocar en nuestro análisis de los mercados, porque puede darnos información muy relevante cuando somos capaces de observarlo.

Con esto me refiero a las emociones, que es aquello que se intenta controlar y evitar como sea posible, y lo que ocurre es que nuestras emociones pueden darnos mucha información relevante, cuando se trata de ver el miedo y ambición que puede haber en los mercados.

Hace poco publique un artículo que se refiere a que me está dando miedo sobre el curso que pueden tener los mercados actualmente, por la gran bajada que han tenido en sus precios y la posible ruptura de los soportes más importantes, y aun sintiendo esto, dije que no vendería absolutamente nada porque justamente podía entender que cuando siento miedo, el mercado está a punto de devolverse al alza.

No debemos tomar en cuenta lo que sentimos únicamente, ya que hay otros datos objetivos que nos deben dar más información para poder analizar lo que va a ocurrir, pero tampoco se deben dejar de lado las emociones, ya que aquello que nosotros sentimos podrían estarlo sintiendo otras personas que están viendo el mercado, y cuando todos están vendiendo, es difícil que el precio baje más porque ya no quedan vendedores, y cuando el precio está subiendo y crea ambición en las personas, puede devolverse porque pueden quedar pocos compradores que impulsen el precio hacia arriba.

Las emociones que sentimos pueden ser unas alarmas que nos digan lo que puede estar por hacer el mercado, según la verticalidad de su tendencia y la forma en que se ha movido últimamente, y al saber que ningún mercado se mueve de manera infinita hacia arriba o hacia abajo, podemos tomar en consideración el indicador emocional como un posible cambio de tendencia, solo debemos estar abiertos a entender lo que sentimos.
