Investing is a profession that requires an important analysis of the data we have in hand to be able to make a decision that will directly influence our capital, just as a doctor must have in hand a lot of data to analyze what happens to a patient and make a decision that will directly influence the health of patients, and it is the same case of psychologists who must analyze all the data we have about a patient to be able to take the therapies towards a good outcome for our patient.

The constants in this that I just showed you is that we need a lot of information to support us to see what is happening in a more accurate way and to take us to the next step, which is to make a decision, which is going to directly influence something that we have power over, and if we really want our money, we are going to take this decision very seriously.

Much of what is sold in trading is that you must know about technical analysis, and how indicators can tell everything, but it leaves out something that is equally important and that would represent 50% of a complete analysis, and is the analysis of the current market, and that is becoming increasingly important in investments or trading, because by globalization, we are seeing how a movement that occurs in a specific market, can influence all others, even when the technical analysis can tell us something very different.

Let's see the example of the 2020 crash, when the sp500 dropped significantly, and this led cryptos to an impressive fall in just 1 day, and how this movement can make many people lose money, but in a movement that began in another market that has no relation with cryptos (according to some "analysts"), but what we saw in reality is that all markets are related in some way, and at least in the short term, all follow the same movement.

This does not mean that the movements are going to be an exact copy, but we have to see what is happening globally to see what we could expect from the market in which we are operating, just as a doctor should see other parts of the body that could be of interest in order to have a more accurate diagnosis.

We have to know that knowledge is power, and part of the knowledge is found in other markets, but this is something that comes with experience, when we begin to see how everything is connected in some way.

Invertir es una profesión que requiere de un análisis importante de los datos que tenemos en la mano para poder tomar una decisión que va a influir directamente en nuestro capital, tal como un médico debe tener en la mano muchos datos para analizar lo que ocurre a un paciente y tomar una decisión que va a influir directamente en la salud de los pacientes, y es el mismo caso de los psicólogos que debemos analizar todos los datos que tenemos sobre un paciente para poder llevar las terapias hacia un buen resultado para nuestro paciente.

Las constantes en esto que les acabo de mostrar es que necesitamos de una gran cantidad de información que nos apoye para ver lo que está ocurriendo de una forma más precisa y que nos lleve al siguiente paso, que es tomar una decisión, lo que va a influir directamente sobre algo en lo que nosotros tenemos poder, y si realmente queremos nuestro dinero, vamos a tomar esta decisión muy en serio.

Mucho de lo que se vende en el trading es que se debe conocer sobre el análisis técnico, y como los indicadores pueden decirlo todo, pero se deja de lado algo que es igual de importante y que representaría un 50% de un análisis completo, y es el análisis de la actualidad en el mercado, y que cada vez está tomando más importancia en las inversiones o trading, porque por la globalización, estamos viendo como un movimiento que ocurre en un mercado en específico, puede influir a todos los demás, aun cuando el análisis técnico pueda indicarnos algo muy distinto.

Veamos el ejemplo del crash del 2020, cuando el sp500 bajo de manera importante, y esto llevo a las criptos a una caída impresionante en apenas 1 día, y como este movimiento puedo hacer perder dinero a muchas personas, pero en un movimiento que comenzó en otro mercado que no tiene ninguna relación con las criptos (según algunos “analistas”), pero lo que vimos en la realidad es que todos los mercados están relacionados de alguna manera, y al menos en un corto plazo, todos siguen un mismo movimiento.

Esto no quiere decir que los movimientos van a ser una copia exacta, sino que tenemos que ver que está ocurriendo a nivel global para ver que podríamos esperar del mercado en el que estamos operando, tal como un médico deber ver otras partes del cuerpo que podrían ser de interés para poder tener un diagnóstico más certero.

Tenemos que saber que el conocimiento es poder, y parte del conocimiento se encuentra en otros mercados, pero esto es algo que se consigue con la experiencia, cuando comenzamos a ver como todo está conectado de alguna manera.
