Today I came across an [article](https://es.cointelegraph.com/news/100m-people-worldwide-now-use-crypto-based-assets-says-cambridge-study) in Cointelegraph that refers to the fact that there are already more than 100,000,000 crypto users in the world, and while this may seem a large number, I personally think there is much more.

The reason why I can say this is that there is a large margin of error in the statistics taken, in which it was found that there are 198,000,000 accounts created and only 40% of these are active, only taking into consideration the accounts in the exchanges, which can be measured by asking for the number of accounts verified and created lately, as you could see in Facebook or other online platforms.

This sample refers only to the data given by the exchanges but there are also other people who use the crypto and don't have active accounts in the exchanges, and I have several examples in Hive, where they make use of the crypto "HIVE" every day and still don't have an account in Binance or Bittrex or another Exchange, but the trades are done through exchange houses from Hive to Fiat within the same platform.

This logically means that several users are not being counted, and we can take this into consideration in several other platforms, such as Steemit and similar ones, as well as those who are interested in buying Bitcoin and use localbitcoins or Airtm which is another popular exchange house in Latin America but does not use the system or has the same popularity as Binance.

I sincerely think that the number of users is much higher, and that it will progressively increase as the use of crypto becomes more popular in the new digital environment that has been increasing in terms of services, products and opportunities for people.

This is very good news, since it shows us that adoption continues to grow, and that more than the price of a crypto, we will have liquidity, which is just as important if we want to increase the use, and therefore the adoption by other people who have not yet decided, for fear of not being able to take their money out of the market without moving the price significantly

Hoy me encontré con un [articulo](https://es.cointelegraph.com/news/100m-people-worldwide-now-use-crypto-based-assets-says-cambridge-study) en Cointelegraph que se refiere a que ya existen más de 100.000.000 de usuarios de cripto en el mundo, y si bien es una cifra que puede parecer grande, yo personalmente pienso que hay mucho más.

La razón por la que puedo decir esto es que hay un margen de error grande en las estadísticas tomadas, en las que se consiguió que hay 198.000.000 de cuentas creadas y solo un 40% de estas esta activa, solo tomando en consideración las cuentas en las exchanges, lo que se puede medir al solicitar la cantidad de cuentas verificadas y creadas últimamente, tal como se podría ver en Facebook u otra plataforma Online.

Esta muestra se refiere únicamente a los datos dados por las exchanges pero también hay otras personas que usan las criptos y no tienen cuentas activas en las exchanges, y tengo varios ejemplos en Hive, donde hacen uso de la cripto “HIVE” todos los días y aun no tienen cuenta en Binance o Bittrex u otra Exchange, sino que los cambios lo hacen a través de casas de cambio de Hive a Fiat dentro de la misma plataforma.

Esto lógicamente hace que no se estén contando a varios usuarios, y podemos tomar esto en consideración en varias otras plataformas, como Steemit y otras parecidas, como también a quienes están interesados en hacer compra de Bitcoin y usan localbitcoins o Airtm que es otra casa de cambio popular en latinoamerica pero que no usa el sistema o tiene la misma popularidad de Binance.

Sinceramente pienso que el número de usuarios es mucho mayor, y que va a ir aumentando progresivamente conforme se vaya haciendo más popular el uso de las criptos en el nuevo ambiente digital que ha estado aumentando en cuanto a servicios, productos y oportunidades para las personas.

Esta es una muy buena noticia, ya que nos indica que la adopción continua creciendo, y que más que el precio de una cripto, tendremos liquidez, que es igual de importante si queremos aumentar el uso, y por ende la adopción por otras personas que aún no se deciden, por miedo a no poder sacar su dinero del mercado sin mover el precio de manera importante.
