It's a new year and the morale is currently high. We all have plans, goals and commitments we desire to achive this new year. Part of these goals has to do with our finances, that I'm sure of. How do we improve in this new year financially? How do we avoid the same mistakes we made in the past year? How can we earn better and build something substantial? That is by learning the game of wealth. Yes I call it the game of wealth because it entails steps, obstacles to overcome before the end goal is met. Last year was a very difficult one financially generally and so we should plan to make this year atleast a lot better.


The first thing I will talk about will definitely be budget. I just can't over emphasis on this because it's finance life saver. Budget helps to control our spending and avoid over spending or wastage. We get to pick what we need over what we want and see what we can afford. This also must go in line with avoiding debts. There is nothing that kills finances as much as debt. Its like a parasites that slowly kills. In order to grow, that parasite must be dealt with. Its best to invest with savings rather than loan. I will keep on saying this.


For the next step which can also be the next level, it's important to focus on our passion. That's the work we have at hand and be the best in that field. Yes I know most of us aren't doing what we want but then, that work pays our bills. Why not be the best in that field and gather as much as you can to build a more financially stable life. But if that job has no future, its not to late to leave it and follow our passion after which we must be ready to sacrifice fun in order to make a name for ourselves and most importantly profits.


Wealth isn't just about being rich. It's about how much our assets can sustain us even when there is no income coming in. Which means assets are important. As we work, we save and invest as much as we can. We buy assets more and more. This will bring us closer to achieving our goals.

Finally, create multiple source of income. At this age, only a fool will have one source of income. Especially if its not even enough. In order to play the game of wealth and win, multiple source of income is a very key component. Learn skills and start series of businesses. It might look hard but it's worth a trial. We never know what we are capable of acheiving until we try.

This is the year of trying and successileding. Be determined and plan to win the game of wealth.
