¡Hola, amigos!

Seguramente te ha pasado que un día tienes ganas de ir a tomar un café a un lugar bonito o, tal vez, de merendar algo rico, pero no quieres ir solo, sino que te apetece compartir tu tarde con alguien más. Sin embargo, cuando llegas al lugar resulta que te ves tan a menudo con tu cita que ya no tienen nada nuevo que contar y es cuando aparece el tan temido «silencio incómodo», ya que estamos acostumbrados a que, si sales con alguien, lo más natural es tener una larga conversación, pero ¿siempre debe ser así?
<br><br>
He aprendido que, si sales con la persona adecuada, hasta los silencios te harán sentir acompañado, así no tienes que soportar la presión de tener que tener siempre algo que contar o decir. A veces solo quieres hacer algo en concreto y la conversación está de más, y eso no significa que el encuentro haya sido fallido. Me ha pasado en ocasiones con mis hermanas o mi esposo, ya que con ellas siempre estoy en contacto y nos actualizamos prácticamente diariamente, y con él vivo, así que...
<br><br>
Pero eso no me impide salir a compartir con ellos. ¡Evidentemente! En algunas salidas solo comentamos lo que nos ha parecido el lugar, si nos gustó la comida y alguna curiosidad más, porque con el mero hecho de hacernos compañía ya es suficiente. No siempre tenemos que hablar hasta el cansancio para sentir que una cita ha valido la pena; con saber que esa persona ha elegido compartir un momento contigo por encima de todo lo demás, con esa simple acción basta y sobra.

I've learned that if you date the right person, even the silences will make you feel accompanied, so you don't have to bear the pressure of always having to have something to tell or say. Sometimes you just want to do something specific and the conversation is overdone, and that doesn't mean that the encounter was unsuccessful. It has happened to me on occasion with my sisters or my husband, since with them I am always in contact and we update each other practically daily, and with him I live, so....

But that doesn't stop me from going out to share with them, of course! On some outings we just comment on what we thought of the place, if we liked the food and some other curiosity, because just the mere fact of keeping each other company is enough. We don't always have to talk to exhaustion to feel that a date has been worthwhile; just knowing that this person has chosen to share a moment with you above everything else, with that simple action is enough.
