<div class="text-justify">Today I have decided to participate in the contest that CineTv presents us, telling you about a Colombian film that shows us the harsh reality that nobody almost talks about in the country.  It is an old movie but it is still in the hearts of all of us, and I am sure that more than one of us has had a tear in our eyes; I leave you with La Vendedora de Rosas.<br><br>

<div class="text-justify">Undoubtedly, this film has a lot to offer us. It premiered in 1998 and was part of the Cannes Film Festival that same year, which is why it is considered one of the most important films of Colombian cinema. I hope you like it a lot.   <br><br>

Es una película ya un poco vieja pero que sigue estando en los corazones de todos nosotros, ya que estoy segura que ha mas de uno le ha sacado una lagrima; los dejo con La Vendedora de Rosas.

<div class="text-justify">This film shows us how after the death of her grandmother, Monica, a 13 year old girl, escapes to be part of the street world of Medellin (Colombia). In this context she only finds drugs, prostitution and violence (nothing far from the Colombian reality in the streets), but the girl, trying to stay away from all this chaos, tries to survive by selling roses. <br><br>   

<div class="text-justify">Her daily purpose becomes to protect the only thing she has, her friends and her best friend, (who is a drug dealer) but, unfortunately, life pays her back with loneliness and again, death. <br><br>  

> Ésta película nos muestra cómo tras el fallecimiento de su abuela, Mónica una niña de 13 años de edad, escapa para formar parte del mundo callejero de Medellin (Colombia). En este contexto solo encuentra drogas, prostitución y violencia (nada lejano a realidad colombiana en las calles), pero la chica, intentando quedar ajena de todo este caos, trata de sobrevivir vendiendo rosas. 

> Su propósito diario se convierte en proteger lo único que tiene, sus amigas y su mejor amigo, (quien  es traficante de drogas) pero, desgraciadamente la vida se lo paga con la soledad y de nuevo, la muerte.

<div class="text-justify">This film has a very interesting scenography as we are always shown marginal points full of poverty and drug addiction in great detail, as this is clearly the problem it wants to show. Something very important to take into account is that the actors and actresses of the film, were really street dwellers, who were dedicated to this type of things mentioned above.<br><br>

<div class="text-justify">Victor Gaviria wanted to give the opportunity to all the people who were in a street situation and wanted to tell their story to participate in this work that would mark the history of our country completely.<br><br>

> Esta cuenta con una escenografía muy interesante ya que se nos muestran siempre puntos marginales repletos de pobreza y drogadicción con mucho detalle, ya que claramente la problemática que se quiere mostrar es esta. Algo muy a tener en cuenta es que los actores y actrices de la película, eran realmente habitantes de la calle, que se dedicaban a este tipo de cosas mencionadas anteriormente. 

> Víctor Gaviria quiso darles la oportunidad a todos y todas las personas que se encontraban en situación de calle y querían contar su historia para participar de esta obra que marcaría la historia de nuestro país completamente.
