Huge apologies for the delay in announcing the winner of my last Art Prompt Writing contest. The picture above gives a fair representation of my current visual capacity. Obviously this is not very conducive to reading lengthy posts.

@bex-dk has stepped in to help me with judging - thank you very much Bex - so I will make the announcement in the next few days. This post has mostly been dictated with Windows Speech Recognition - with a few corrections by my girlfriend.

@GMuxx, I'm so sorry about this. But as you well know, I can relate better than I wish I could. That is *exactly* what my vision does when a flareup of whateverthisis strikes me. The only difference is that the geometry patterns are dark for me instead of white. They start small, then expand until they wipe out my vision entirely in just this manner. I am never able to tell which eye is affected, which signaled my neurologist that the event is happening deeper in the brain than the eyes structure itself. I was checked for detached retina, of course, and it isn't that. 

All this to say that I am particularly sympathetic to your struggle with this, as well as your frustration at having no "fix" for it, or even a clear understanding of the MS complication that causes it. My heart is with you today. Just know you are loved.
