Smile.
The world as we know it may never be the same ever again.

War, economic turmoil, huge changes in the society, pandemic.. all of these sad things have plagued us and have been the new normal for all of us over the past couple of years - and there is no sign of going back to the way things once were.

So, what can we all do?

Well, for starters, we can all - smile. For a single smile can change everything in many ways - think you walk down the street and you see a random stranger smiling at random, at himself.

That's what happened to me today. A guy walking down the street with his umbrella smiled when looking at the Thessaloniki seaside. And it made my day.

I don't think he realised that I noticed him smiling for no particular reason whatsoever - but I feel that with everything going on, we have slowly started to forget what are some of the most beautiful qualities about a human being.

Number one? Smiling.

So, when in doubt - smile. You never know how just one smile can make yours - and someone else's - day a whole lot more beautiful. :)

it's really true, I too when I'm out and about I often look at other people and see people smiling. Depending on the situation it can really change your day.

Whatever the "good old days" were for us, they are in the past. What you said about the state of the world is true.

Even so, we don't live all over the world.  We live where we are at any moment.  We could be miserable as we live through each day, but what kind of life is that?  In doing that, we take years off our lives, and who wants to do that?

In a world become darker each day, we need to bring light into it.  That can begin with a smile even in the darkest of moments.  Once light appears, darkness begins to fade away.
