I promise I am not a megalomaniac . God like means like god. Trying to be like a god is a world away from trying to be A god. Trying to be like a god means growing on your spirit path. Trying to be a god means begging people to worship you. I think people are limited by their spirit more than IQ. Intelligence is second to reason and reason is of the gods. Humans are not known for effective reasoning skills. We invented gods because we were so bad at it. Being like god really means having superhuman reasoning. Which compared to most of humanity's history is simply having any reason at all.

"The greatest victory is the battle not fought" and the wise will know wisdom when spoken from a beggar or a billionaire. A cartoon or the pope. Being godlike is not, "not needing god". It is not needing  books. Religious texts or teachers. When you experience god. You are godlike.

To be godlike is to be free of those who would harm you. Unlike Vegeta you will not have to fight for your life. Being godlike will keep you insulated from negative forces.
