Along the woods to the north, there’s a decent sized volunteer patch of black raspberries. They are just ripening and I got enough for lunch on Friday.

The Kousa dogwood has edible fruit. These are 3 of them, not ripe yet.

In the cold frame, there are 2 good size eating tomatoes. They are doing better than the ones we planted!

In the Big garden, my helper friend got another 10’ cleaned out. That leaves about 20’ more to do…  I need to find mulch for this, now it is done.

I harvested a large bowl of the 7 Sisters fairy roses to dehydrate. I got 5 big trays full. You can’t tell I touched the rose.

The tansy from Thursday yielded a ½ gallon jar and a quart jar, both packed full.

This is the front pasture on Friday night. The rain stopped just as we headed to bed. The sky was still very dark.

Saturday I plan to be out there early and try to get at least 1 more walkway done, maybe 2 in the New Herb garden. But before I can start, I must weed the area under the azalea and dump the 4½ totes of mixed mulch there. I need the totes to put the raked up stuff from the New Herb garden in.
