 On Friday night the contractor finished too late to get a photo, so this is where he was then. He’d be back on Saturday to finish it. On Saturday I went out at 9:30AM and cleaned out the trash shed and got the truck loaded. My tenant was driving me to the dump later in the day. We got that job done in early afternoon. I’d hoped he would be back after picking up his car to work on the root cellar, but he didn’t get back until supper time. So I read for a while and visited with Tom’s wife while he fixed the computer. I’d lost internet again on my husband’s computer.  I went out to get a photo of the shed roof nearly done, but couldn’t manage one. I got this one of the white oak in the late evening sun instead.  He made it to the top and started the capping. He plans to come back on Sunday before it rains to finish for the year. He says he will resume in the spring and finish it.  *New North garden - Solomon’s seal, feverfew, marigolds, hellebore* On Saturday I plan to get that last big squash roasted and my friend and I are going to a Chestnut Roasting in a nearby town. We will be back mid afternoon, hopefully before the rain starts.
