It is never a measurement of quality or close relationships with someone. Know this reality before uttering things like, 'I have known him for years'. Spending years together does not mean that friendship or relationship has quality. Do you know that you can actually meet someone for just few days and have things in common than someone that you have known for ten years. It was said in the Holy Bible that Judas knew Yeshua for almost three years but yet he betrayed him, while the thief at the cross of Calvary was just with him for two hours but yet he was acknowledged. Stop allowing time to determine who your real friend is, you might be getting it wrong. Time is just the constituent of seconds, minutes, hours, days,weeks and years. Even quality time sometimes does not determine the quality of a relationship. friendship and relationship are just connection between hearts. Time is a collection, relationships are connections. A deep connection is greater than a collection of time. The collection of time does not determine the connection of heart in a relationship. Know this and know peace.
