Printing a 3D gun : Publishing blue prints not allowed judge says
Dear Steemers,

In some countries the right to own a gun is baked in the law/constitution such as in the 2nd amendment in the USA. Other countries like mine - Tulipstan :)  - are very hesitant allowing people to own guns whereas in other countries there is no law at all and everyone has a AK47 to protect the cattle.

# So can I please 3D print a gun myself then ?

A US company called Defense Distributed put 3D blueprints of hand guns online in 2013, was forced to take them of again and after some legal hassle now had an agreement with the department of Justice which allowed them to publish blueprints for a 3D gun online. They planned to start doing this August 1st.

But forget looking for these as in the last minute a US judge forbid the publishing again. Not sure how this works in the USA but we see/hear this more often lately. 

Our government - when asked- emphasized that 3D printing a gun here in the Netherland is against the law and so is delivering blue prints. How on earth are they gonna stop that ?

# So I have to wait a little while as law obeying citizen.

So no gun for me the coming years. Instead I have to keep my valuable goods in a safe deposit. Insured and no worries of owning a gun but still……..

In the US you do not want to keep anything valuable in a safe deposit box.  If you were to die the box is locked and then it will go to the estate and possibly taxed.
