Long waited, v1.2.3 is released for Android users and will be rolled out for iOS users soon. App is certainly moving to the direction where a lot of users are enjoying using it. Thank you for those who take time to report issues and request features, suggest improvements. It is really appreciated and very helpful. With each version, I say that it is major update because of the changes and new extended features, so this one is not exception :-)

Some of the changes being rolled out with each iterations. As usual this post is about changes and what Android devices will have and in few days another update will be posted with iOS release notes.

# What's New

* QR code for transfers/payments
You can now send payment to any account or friend quickly without typing. Transfer page shows QR code for logged in user and you can select camera on username field and scan QR and you will have username quickly and correct without any misspells, although there was already check before sending, this should improve usability. 

* Gallery view
You can view images in post with new Gallery view which was [mentioned earlier](https://steemit.com/esteem/@good-karma/esteem-introducing-gallery-mode-for-images). This allows you to Zoom in (pinch in) and Zoom out (pinch out), scroll between images. To close Gallery View you just have to Swipe down and continues reading.
 
* Access to author profile
You can open author's profile page from any post. Author name is linked and you can click and open their profile page to Follow/Unfollow, view their recent post and other profile details. Thanks to users who suggested easy access to other user profiles! Note: you still can Search User and Tags/Categories, just like before.

* Search follow
You have large list of followers and difficulty finding them? No problem, you can search your follower and followings in Follow page.

# What's improved

* Navigation sensitivity improved for some Android devices.
* Scroll down to refresh added on main page for easy access to refresh
* Signup via Steemit.com added, dedicated signup will soon be implemented.
* Many small improvements on code for performance and buttons/alert messages.
