I quite enjoy isometric adventure RPG games especially if they include some aspect of puzzle-solving.  I am also willing to make allowances for the fact that this is an Indie game.  However, I can't forgive any game for being repetitive and boring, especially right out of the gate.

This is one of the cheaper new-ish games out there at around $10 and I was excited because I am not really into the difficulty level of a majority of the more popular titles out there today such as the latest and greatest FPS games.  I like the kind of games that bring me back to my youth and even games that borrow from other such treasured titles as Diablo.  I suppose it could be said that this game is like that in a way but in a much more childish way.

The game is very simple and straight forward.  There are people standing around with "!" above their heads and they give you quests that result in the improvement of your gear and this leads to more difficult areas.  Many enemies drop things that can increase your health and if playing with a controller the default setup works just fine.  The hitboxes are extremely short so this results in you taking damage even when you execute the assault near perfect.  Again, this is forgivable.  

One nice aspect is that you can use your shovel to dig anywhere.  Some of the locations of buried chests are evidenced by the glowing shovel icon, and others do not show up at all, which may interest hardcore gamers interested in 100% completion but to me it is just too tedious and time-consuming.  

I was 2 hours in before I encountered anything remotely challenging and even then it was just a question of hitting a couple buttons and constantly regenerating my health with the masses of health-replenishing fruits and veg I had found as drops along the way.  There are puzzles here and there that you would have to be a toddler to not be able to figure out such as a incomplete platform that is missing a bit exactly the same size as the only moveable item in the room.

I do applaud the innovative art design and the use of torches as save points.  You can have as many saves as you want but can only save at torches (and you need to have a torch - which you can buy very early on in the game in what appears to be unlimited quantities.)

The dungeons will never be the same because they are generated on the fly, which can result in something absurdly short at times with a bit of luck.  The trailer above is sped up and this is one of the most irritating aspects of the game:  You move waaaaay too slow so if you reach a dead end you have a long and boring walk ahead of you.  

<h3> TL;DR </h3>

**While I applaud the talents of a small independent team of developers in creating a full-length, relatively bug free game overall it is quite boring.  After a mere 3 hours of playtime I am really close to uninstalling it.  For children this game might be ok, but for anyone expecting a real challenge or anything innovative aside from the artwork, I find the game overall disappointing and therefore cannot recommend it.**
