Hoy, con mi esposo, tuve el placer de asistir a la celebración de Notion en español, un evento que tuvo lugar aquí en Madrid, y en simultáneo, en varios países de habla hispana. Nos reunimos para celebrar el lanzamiento de la tan esperada versión en español de esta navaja suiza de la productividad.

El evento se llevó a cabo en la terraza del Talent Garden Madrid, un espacio de coworking muy atractivo. Contó con la participación de un grupo de embajadores de Notion, quienes lideraron distintos grupos de trabajo en áreas como: educación y gestión del conocimiento, empresas y negocios, inteligencia artificial y automatización, así como de productividad y proyectos. También estuvieron presentes miembros del equipo central de Notion, quienes compartieron los detalles sobre el largo proceso de desarrollo que hizo posible su disponibilidad en español.

Durante el evento, me uní al grupo de automatización e inteligencia artificial, ya que es un tema que me apasiona y que ofrece un potencial enorme. Según los embajadores, el equipo de desarrollo ha realizado avances impresionantes en estas áreas, y lo que está por venir es de otro nivel. Sin duda, fue una tarde llena de aprendizaje y conocimiento. Me queda claro que Notion es una herramienta sumamente poderosa con un potencial enorme, del que apenas estamos aprovechando un mínimo porcentaje, falta mucho por explorar. 

El evento también nos brindó la oportunidad de hacer networking, compartir ideas y conectar con otros entusiastas. Y, por supuesto, como en todo evento de este tipo, no podrían el anhelado Merch. La gente de Notion se lució con sus stickers, también hubo bolígrafos, agendas y hasta un bucket hat precioso me dieron. Sin embargo, lo que más me emocionó fue ver cajas de Pirulin entre los snacks... ¡un auténtico momento de orgullo venezolano!

The Notion team did a fantastic job with their stickers, and there were also pens, agendas, and they even gave me a beautiful bucket hat. However, what excited me the most was seeing boxes of Pirulin among the snacks... a true moment of Venezuelan pride! <br/>

Estar tan lejos, extrañando entre otras cosas los sabores de mi tierra, y conseguir que allí tenían una de nuestras chucherías más premium, me encantó. Fue lo más emocionante de ese evento jajaja

El coworking es tendencia, es cierto. Ese lugar en particular, me encantó. Además de los espacios abiertos, tiene algunas cabinas privadas para las reuniones. Me pareció súper. 

El Pirulín fue la gran sensación jajajaja

Albani, por experiencia propia, ve con calma, al principio parece una agenda más, luego sientes que son como muchas cosas juntas, pero luego, cuando lo entiendes, lo amas. Aprovecha los tutoriales que ofrece la misma herramienta y las comunidades de Notion. Adicionalmente, hay mucho material en internet. 

Lo genial de tener la herramienta ahora en español, es que se rompe la barrera del idioma y el proceso de aprendizaje fluye.

Recuerdo que al principio no me gustaba nada Notion, me parecía engorroso…y era que no lo entendía jajaja ahora, me encanta, es un diamante en bruto.

Mira, llegar a esa mesa y ver cajas de Pirulin me elevó el orgullo Veneco a 1000. De hecho, le pregunté a la muchacha del coworking, y me comentó que una pareja, miembros de su equipo de organizadores, son venezolanos…lo entendí todo jajajaja

Notion es una herramienta de productividad con una cantidad de funciones y posibilidades para la gestión de procesos, actividades, trabajos colaborativos, etc. En tan “all in one” que ellos mismos la definen como una navaja suiza de productividad. Hay de todo. 

Échale un ojo, hay muchos tutoriales en internet para que comiences a usarla. Ve a tu ritmo, poco a poco, para que no te abrumes.

Yo quedé así 🤯 con todo lo que se está gestando, y lo que ya se está haciendo: la posibilidad de conectar con la API de Notion para la automatización de procesos, y hacerlo sacando provecho de Notion AI, incluso con prompts generados y probados en otras IA como ChatGPT, por ejemplo🤯

En la medida que iban expandiendo los casos de usos y las posibilidades de la herramienta, yo me iba reduciendo en tamaño jajajaja

Me encanta que te despierte la curiosidad. Es una herramienta genial. El año pasado mi hija y yo comenzamos tomando el curso de Notion de Platzi, a partir de ese momento, ambas hemos ido aprendiendo mucho de ella. Ahora es de sus herramientas favoritas para la gestión de sus actividades del instituto, así que seguro te va a gustar a ti también.
