Like my mother would constantly say “English is not your language, it is a borrowed language"

Learning other languages is incredibly pleasant. Sometimes we encounter folks who may not be able to speak with us using English. I can speak just two languages English and Igbo.
Just like hive, some may not be able to comprehend English but their Native language( Spanish and more) 
 How do we communicate with them?
That's why studying languages are important and required.

The first time I studied french was in my elementary school, it wasn't really hard to grasp or maybe they were teaching us the essentials but I could recall the excitement of learning a language that wasn't the regular English or Native language.

If am to learn a new language I will still learn french. I want to learn it very well so i can be fluent. I was doing pretty well those times but after I got admission I forgot everything since I wasn't studying it. The only thing I can recall is Bonjour.
Learning french makes you required in various schools. You may even teach at other schools.

I recall in my elementary school days, my French teacher was coming just once a week and still got a salary. That's a lot of money teaching at like 5 different schools. As a french instructor, you scarcely seek a job too since many firms would like to engage you to talk to their international clientele and get paid generously for it.

If I study one foreign language“french" learning other foreign languages like Spanish, and Chinese may be easy for me.
And if I invite any of those nations to interact with the citizens would be a lot simpler.
Learning provides you advantages over individuals who don't.
