## Adebisi Shank are another band from

The band was formed in 2006 in Wexford, Ireland and consisted of Lar Kaye (guitar), Vincent McCreith (bass), and Michael Roe (drums), and stayed together till 2014, releasing 3 full length albums, and one EP. While they're cited as part of the math-rock world, there isn't as much weird rhythmic stuff, or the jazz influenced harmony, of other math-rock, and instead they incorporate the timbres and tones (particularly in the guitars), and some of the tapping style, but into a super upbeat, almost party-like vibe. When I first heard them, it was sort like of a sour jolly rancher but for my ears, with all kinds of almost wacky sounds, but in a really driving, interesting instrumental context. Today's song comes from the band's second album, the aptly titled <i>This is the Second Album of a Band Called Adebisi Shank</i>, which is where I first found them. The album covered is what pulled me in... two zebras, sprinting across some sort of digital future scape, which is somehow representative of their sound here, haha.</div>
