# <center><b>The Beatles</b> - <i>The Inner Light</i></center>
## I haven't shared any <b>Beatles</b> songs

Like my <b>Beach Boys</b> posts, writing a biography seems a little crazy, as they're just <i>so</i> well known, but it's the style of these posts, so I gotta do what I gotta do, lol. <b>The Beatles</b> were formed in 1960 in Liverpool, England, and after some initially line-up, the 'fab four' came together, with Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and John Lennon. Like a lot band's of the time, their music was pop rock, with themes about young love, though they wrote all their own music, which was actually pretty unusual, at least early in the '60s. As they grew older, they began to explore different styles of music in their listening and playing, and in the studio, began to try wild things to get completely unique sounds to utilize for their songs. Their music became a lot deeper, lyrically and harmonically, resulting in what are generally considered some of the best albums of all time, which completely changed the direction of rock and pop music for all time. Today's tune was released as a B-side to the <i>Lady Madonna</i> single in 1968, and is a really interesting song. It was written by George Harrison, and the instrumental portion of the tune was recorded in Mumbai (Bombay at the time), India, and used some Indian instruments, along with the guitar. The harmonies of the song are also clearly very influenced by the music George was hearing around him in India.
Despite my love of the band, I had somehow missed the song entirely, until I discovered it on the <i>'Past Masters'</i> compilation, well into my '20s.</div>
