<div class="pull-right">https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/grapthar/rG4QeIo0-Screen20Shot202021-03-0320at209.30.5220PM.png<center><b>Sidechained gate on Group 1, triggered by Track 7</b></center></div><div class="text-justify">post, as every track is just an audio track, which I recorded from various MIDI instruments (plus their effects), but I figured I'd share this as it is a good example of the random ideas I usually mess around with that often don't become anything, but are good practice.  I dropped in a random little clip in Track 6 which starts off the song, then recorded 4 different instruments into Tracks 2-5.  Each of these were Equator instruments, with different Portal and echo effects to create some weird, rhythmic noise. I intended to make them all fit into a more obvious sort of pattern but I kind of like the clashing of tones and rhythms that came out of these.  I figured maybe I'll revisit this and use it as an intro, or maybe some part of a song, in the future.  I was thinking that I'd maybe add a gate to that group and have it triggered by drums; I didn't really want to create a whole beat, so I dropped a little drum loop into Track 7, the had that trigger the gate over the whole group.  It actually made for a pretty cool effect, though a lot of the noisiness is lost, so whenever I revisit this I'll see how I feel about.</div>
