## So this is one of those things

I created a single chord progression, and then just recorded it with various instruments (many from Native Instruments' Ashlight demo).  Overall, I like the idea, though I think the end got a little muddy, as I overdid it with the layering haha.  The basic progression is Fmaj, Fsus2, Bbsus2, and Absus2, before repeating.  The first two parts work I think, sticking with the more ambient, floaty vibe; at the end, I added more percussion elements, and arpeggiator synths, which for sure could be cool, but the low turns into just a giant drone, muddying the whole thing up.  So I'm going to try out a second version of this, and cut back on the sounds, removing the percussive/heavily rhythmic elements, and instead going with that more soundscapey vibe that the song starts with.  I also, once again, forgot to save the original MIDI/piano roll to screenshot here; since I was using the Ashlight demo, I had to record everything to audio, as the demo ends after 20 minutes.  Just out of habit, I deleted the chords' MIDI track at the end, and then closed Ableton, before realizing I'd be unable to screenshot them for this post.  Gotta make myself reminders in the future, lol.</div>
